melo is trash but drummond is a better player than bam even at his age

That must be why Drummond was a DNP-CD in the last game of the playoffs for the lakers even wit AD out.

Whose also asked to guard more then Just the Center? More often then not the Heat D calls for Bam to go out and guard the perimeter taking him away from the basket. Drummond not so much

I'm an open Tucker hater but I would've taken Otto porter / Rudy Gay / Batum / Portis over him, easily.

Sure if this was 2K and you could just hand pick what free agents join your team.

Its a 2 way street and clearly Tucker was intrigued by the Heat more than those others.

Tucker is better than both Porter and Gay defensively. One of them in addition to Tucker would have been great, but Tucker will help on the boards and in the paint more than both of them and that is a HUGE need for this team

As for Batum and Portis, can't blame Pat for them wanting to stay home. Portis took half the price that we reportedly offered. It sucks, but like was said in the last post this isn't 2k

What decent guys are going for the minimum? We needed someone to help us at the 4 and Tucker was the guy.

Keep in mind, we can't force a guy to sign here. Its a lot easier for team like the Lakers and Nets to convince guys to sign for cheap.

Where did Porter and Monk sign? Oh ya, the Lakers.

Porter warriors, but yes, these are more attractive teams than us at the moment apparently.

Issue is we took the route of needing cheap guys to fill out the roster and we apparently cannot get them. That is not a good thing.
