Oof not another first. I enjoy the aggressiveness but one thing i liked about GarPax was that they were conservative with first rounders. I was fine with giving up 2 in Vuc trade, now im gritting my teeth.
I don't do the dishes, I throw them in the crib

don't like this one. Young was a very good influence on all the young guys, and was particularly close with Lavine. And giving up a first round pick, even though they may be a playoff team is not good. They are already down a future first from the Vucevic trade.

I don’t know why that’s necessarily your conclusion. We need something tough up front more than ever

Interested to hear what happens with Lauri (I don’t see how they can still afford him), because at first blush I’m not a big fan of giving up a first, giving Derozan that contract, or presumably starting Patrick at the 4.

What an insane deal for the Spurs. Getting Thad and picks for a free agent they never wanted to keep.
I’m not sure about it for the Bulls. Huge overpay for sure, but I’ll wait on details and get some sleep before saying more.

i would still be willing to flip lauri for danny green if we could pull it off, but otherwise yeah, we need shooting so we might as well keep him
use the bae on a defensive 4/5 and we're in an interesting place. i don't know if i could call it good but i'm willing to see where it goes

Pretty crazy how AK came in and almost immediately made the team good.

Next deal needs to get some draft capital back.
Turn down for what?

There were a loooooooooooot of complaints about how they didn't do anything during the trade deadline. But look at them now.
This has got to be the best off season in Bulls history, and that's not being overly dramatic. Sure, we still haven't hit the top tier superstar in free agency as yet, but look at the talent upgrade. Vuc and DeRozan are allstar level talent. Ball is a starter quality player who is still very young and on an upside. This is huge.
And again, we are just building legitimate talent, and assets, who are going to be moveable if need be, for who knows, maybe a player of the likes of Lillard. Who knows, but it feels extremely odd to have this much valuable talent on this roster.
Now pay Zach, and get to work!
Well I'm glad they finally listened.

Did...did we just get Demar without giving up Lauri?!?!
Lonzo, Caruso, Dotson
Zach, Coby, Ayo
Demar, TBJ
Lauri, PWill
Vuch, Marko
Sign me the **** up
Plus we still have the BAE and minimum to round out the roster. Definitely need to add some frontcourt depth and rim protection.
