Also, he gets to the line! 7.2 FT attempts last season.

It's kinda amazing Lauri is still here. AK still had a chip to trade or match/resign

I honestly feel great about this. Better now then I have as a Bulls fan since the Rose days. This team will likely land between 4-6 but has the potential to be top 3 in the east if everything clicks.

Yes, because our '23 is going to ORL - which means we can't trade our 1st until '25.

What are you even talking about man? Seems like the off season is going down hill?? When it's the best this franchise has ever been a part of? Really??? Smh.aramada wrote:This offseason feels like it's going downhill... Teams looks scarier I guess, but not really textbook roster building here. Thad was a much better fit than DDR...

When AK said he didn't want to draft this high again after they got Pat, he was NOT F****** kidding.

Re: Bulls Closing in on DeRozan! 3yrs/$85m PG. 17 update
Seriously, though, Lonzo can shoot, Vuc can shoot, Pat can shoot, LaVine can really shoot... and DeRozan, while not good, is probably still better from 3 than Kris Dunn was...
Losing Thad probably hurts team chemistry a bit... but DD is also considered a pretty good locker-room guy.
Lonzo-LaVine-DD-Pat-Vuc is a very dangerous starting lineup. Depth is a big question mark - Caruso as 3rd guard, Ayo, TBJr, Coby? Lauri (or who they get back for him)? Simonovic... and whomever they get with the minimums... but still
Hope there's some protection on that future first round pick, though...

Would it? He hardly looked like a guy ready to expand beyond his 15% usage. I think practicing alongside DeRozan would be great for his development. Didn't seem to stop Keldon and Dejounte from developing.
I agree. Make the young guy earn it.
This.

This new FO is on fire. Looks like some of you may not like the players or whatever and maybe you'll be right, but the EFFORT here. Oh my god, I can't believe what we're doing.
The Bulls, the BULLS, are wheeling and dealing.
Lonzo for Sato, Demar for Thad? It's nice for once to be the beneficiary of these "well surely my team could've beat that" deals. I left this board because I knew all the fun and ambitious things we discussed here would literally never happen, I was l.i.t.e.r.a.l.l.y. wasting my time and attention and energy on a team that didn't give a hoot about itself. Now look at us. Let's roll.
Yep. During the Gar/Pax era, how many times dis we have multiple 100+ page threads on rumored blockbusters only to never happen? Too many to count.
I'm not happy about giving away another 1st when we still owe another one. But as I mentioned earlier, we tried the conservative and not trading picks thing and it hasn't worked in 23 years. We needed to try a Kenny Williams type approach of being aggressive
1000%. Even if this new core doesn't turn out to work, this organization is so far long overdue for a different approach, I literally don't care. We just went out and got creative to fill out our roster with accomplished, proven, respected players; our team is instantly competitive and interesting again, and more importantly I suddenly trust that we're in this **** to win it. Being a Bulls fan isn't toxic anymore. I'm excited, and on top of that I'm excited merely to be excited. The Bulls do things.

Yes, GarPax sucked the blood and years of our lives out of us. Reinsdorf was a fanbase abuse enabling pos. I am actually getting more angry the more AKME does.
Hey boneheads, do you see how easy this could've been?? Sheesh!
