I can't stand the Morris Brothers but a body is a body at this point.

The Lakers did not want him back, despite them scrambling to fill out their roster.

That should tell you all you need to know.

Outside the season they lost to Toronto in the 2nd round and the bubble season (as a 5th seed), we've mainly been a bottom seeded franchise with horrible contracts.

I try to be reasonably optimistic and I do think this team could give other teams a tough series if everything works out with health including Oladipo (if he comes back) and Herro becoming the player we hope he can be. But that's too much of a what if to make me feel comfortable.

I do get that there was only so much we could do, but that's the problem. This strategy of whale chasing and missing on good players for just a chance of getting a Giannis backfired. Now we have limited roster with no size and old players that is hard capped with barely any draft picks.

They are my team no matter what, but I can only be positive and hopeful so much. I just don't like what we've been doing for almost a decade now. I'll hope for the best since I can't control anything.

What you're looking for is perfection

What I'm looking for is more consistency and better handling of contracts. I can't just blindly give them the benefit of the doubt that every move is going to be gold. I'm not expecting us to compete for a title every year since stars dictate that, but I'd like us to be better than what we've been outside the bubble year.

I think Yurtseven will get a shot and maybe a developmental PF. If Yurtseven pans out you can slide Bam to PF

No one said he was a perfect signing lol

We needed to find role players for PF and got PJ Tucker and Markieff Morris....two guys with defensive ability and championship experience.

No team hits 100% on contracts. In the 7 years since LeBron left we have a 53% winning percentage. You watched your team go the Finals, you saw them be one win away from the ECF just 2 years after he left, and you see them in the mix for all the top guys year in and year out. Now compare that to what Cleveland has done in their post LeBron years and get back to me. This is one of the top 5 run organizations in the league.

He openly stated he wanted to retire a Laker and was hoping for a new contract, but the Lakers didn't want him back.

But yeah lemme be excited for all these scrubs we are signing and the roleplayers we are overpaying, while giving away our promising youth in Precious and Nunn.

Negativity aside, are we better than last year? I'd say so.

We can definitely annoy the Bucks, Sixers.

What worries me is our backcourt defense outside Lowry and Jimmy. We are cooked with these little fast guards (Trae, Dame, Curry, Kyrie)

KZ is the ultimate example of how bipolar this board is.

As a member of the Heat, hes widely regarded on as a bust who we overpaid for. However, if he were to be moved to facilitate some upcoming signing, this board would **** their pants over how we mismanaged an asset.

You know what this off season feels like? It feels like the off-season we gave Hassan that contract, let Wade pass, and then the Waiters-Johnson debacle. Just handing out contracts.

Kieff on a minimum deal, if you are complaining about that...

Nah, we have chance to go at least to ECF this year. That year we are struggling to get a spot in the playoffs.
