Collins was supposed to be the starting PF day 1, with Melo as the backup. Giles was 3rd string, but when Collins went out again with injury, instead of starting Melo and backing him up with Giles... Stotts elected to go small. Instead of, next man up... he went with go small shakeup. Giles is just another bargain big that shows well, but never got the PT under Stott's.

Giles > Zeller

Agreed, I want to keep Giles and his potential.
For right now I think Zeller is the better player but I want to develop Giles more.

Giles > Zeller
Giles was getting more PT after Nurk's hand/wrist injury. But then got injured himself ( calf, if I recall correctly) as was out for two months. Marginally players can not afford to get long injuries when the opportunity for more PT exists, under every coach. Now blame Stotts for the heatwaves in the NOrthwest.

What potential does Giles have? He is the same player he was coming out of HS.
