I'm not sure...depends on how hot for Simmons Bobby and Masai are. I can't stand the guy and want no part of him because I don't think there is a way to get through to him that he needs to really improve his game.

OG virtually untouchable.

Kendrick Perkins is a dummy but what he said during the draft after we picked Barnes about Siakam is sitting with me. Theres gotta be truth to it.

Siakam is out the door 100% for a Simmons deal.

And I think Masai likely baulked at GS package because he wasnt getting a young/established player in return. He doesnt want a package of picks to tank. He wants another player to provide similar production to Siakam.

And ya the LA meeting with Rich Paul/Masai seems funny. Rich had a ton of clients who signed that day...

...Masai has been good to Rich Paul. Masai has had to deal with Rich Paul for Nick Nurse, OG and now GTJ...so maybe there have been words about a possible Simmons trade when they were out in LA yesterday.

I want to see what a Simmons/OG/Barnes/Pascal/Precious lineup can do on both ends of the floor. It could be a trainwreck, it could be the most versatile defensive force ever assembled.

Simmons is really talented but his lack of self-awareness and arrogance bothers me to no end. OG for Ben is a non starter. I'd rather just keep Pascal who I know is committed to improving every year, over a guy who either doesn't see or chooses not to acknowledge his own deficiencies and work on his flaws.
