We're solid but not quite there....We're just missing that whale aren't we. Maybe it's coming. . .

I don't think Mickey goes into the Luxury tax just to have UD sit on the bench as a player instead of a coach. This situation actually gives them the excuse to push UD into the coaching side of things instead of taking a roster spot.

So just getting home and soaking this all in, we are back to being DEM GOOOOOOONS from MIAMI!

Nobody is going to want to play us in the playoffs.

Our 2 weakest positions last year were PG and PF, we have now upgraded at both and haven't added a backup PG yet.

We may not win, but we are definitely going to fight until the end and we won't get swept. We will 100% be tougher than last year.

The irony here is if they give him a two year deal starting at over 5 mil we either match him and pay the luxury tax or lose him for nothing. Business is business but thats low key ruthless of the Bucks.

Thats not even factoring UD and his contract…

We can't get a reputation of being physical though.

Modern NBA doesn't allow that type of defense and we will get called for fouls and get a bad rep.

Bucks clearly not happy we took Tucker and now trying to phuck us.

Getting Dipo back feels important. He’d be an awesome weapon off the bench, and it’d help his body to stay fresh in limited burn. Dude should be looking at Derrick Rose and what he’s been able to do these past few years after looking like he was finished. Just got 3/43.

If we don't get Dipo, here are names I like as a backup PG -

Avery Bradley - Obvious fit. Feel like theres a timeline in which we have to wait to sign him. He's been working out at a local high school down here and also UM so he definitely knows the area. Would fit the dog mentality we are building and shot the ball amazingly while he was down here.

Mike James - Beloved by the Nets. He's a baller and a playmaker and would give us a spark off the bench. Shot 35% from 3 and I think would actually allow us to play a similar style between him and Lowry.

Frank Ntilikina - Call me crazy. He's only 23. Can definitely defend. In very limited action shot 47% from 3 (not realistic but high 30s probably attainable) and I think he is the type of guy that needs a new environment and a lot of love and family affection (aka Culture).

That's about all that excites me. I hope someone in the SL impresses them enough to get the gig but I feel like we need another PG that's been in the league with this group.

Dipo is done. Can’t be relied on and won’t recover fully. Bucks are wasting their time

I’ll wait for a blue check to say something about Dipo. The Bucks having alleged interest when they arent in the loop on his medical situation doesnt make any sense.

Lowry/Bradley?*/Vincent
Duncan/Herro/Garrett
Jimmy/KZ/Strus
Tucker/Morris/Haslem?*
Bam/Dedmon/Yurtseven

2-ways to Dru Smith and Micah Potter

Our team. Let's go to war

I'm hopeful we are prepared to pay some tax and are able to do a S&T with Iggy to Goldenstate for Oubre Jr so we aren't forced to rely on KZ.

Also hope we don't give UD a contract this time around. But still want to keep him as part of the team in some capacity.

Bradley will definitely fit the type of team we are building if Herro's handling the ball a lot off the bench. Just think we should have someone who's capable to run the offense as a Lowry backup plan just in case he's out a chunk of the season.

This is what I hope we end up with going into next season.

Lowry/Payton/Vincent
Duncan/Herro/Oladipo
Jimmy/Oubre/Strus
Tucker/Morris/KZ
Bam/Dedmond/Yurtseven

Garrett/??? for two ways

Honestly, it's worth the risk at low pay.

Low pay will make the definite lack of success more palatable yes

Not sure if was mentioned here, to those who don't follow SL :

Ended up with 3-7 from 3, 27 points, 19 rebounds (5 offensive) 7TO, 2 asists, 1 block, 6 fouls in 31 minutes.

So yea...maybe sign a 7 footer that does that. Long term.

Yes! Woke up and saw we got Morris. Now we added the depth we need in PF, really improved.
Man we have a bunch of dogs. Pistons of 2004 like DOGS. We gonna put up a fight and still have Herro to trade if the right opportunity comes up.
Omer is good? You guys saw the came? Who else good? Any Diamonds?

We had no interest in a cheap proven backup on a team with a 35 YO starting PG?
