Knowing Presti we may not ever find out the exact amount, but Kemba had to have made some pretty big concessions for us to buy him out this early in the process. Hoping it's something like he didn't pick up the option on the last year.

Also , why didn’t we buy him out BEFORE free agency whereby he might be willing to leave more on the table so to speak

So I'm guessing the tank attempt roles on this year but we aren't likely to take back big bad contracts for the foreseeable future. This signals the end of rehabbing player value for the moment.

It will be announced as it will count against our cap .

Also, can we all agree that Jake Fishcer is a hack?

Waiting for a kemba trade still .

This is slanderous on jake’s reputation

Jake's tweets slander his own reputation.

well I hate this. it's still better than keeping Kemba though but shouldn't have traded for him in the first place.

My guess is that he's healthy and Presti doesn't want him winning us games.

You're probably right on the CP3/Horford/Kemba size deals. Could we even take back Love at this point if we renounced all the TPE's?

I think we traded for 16 by taking on kemba guaranteed amount and giving up Horford guaranteed amount

It's not my money, so I don't really care anyway, but we were likely hoping a market materialized for him.

Why do we as fans care how much the buyout was? We have young guys to develop/give minutes to, so I'm all good with it.

That’s true in the overall scheme but once all the PG have moved I guess Presti didn’t see much market for him if any .

The more he give up. The more likely we can use the TPEs for asset .

I'm not sure but even if we can, but I hope we don't.

I see.. did not know that. I assume it was a substantial amount for the Thunder to agree to it.
