Well, probably not everyone. But for me -- I'd definitely still trying to dump him for a bag of chips (or whatever we can get for him) as I have seen nothing in his three years that he has the commitment necessary to develop into a piece that will help us win. Sure hope I'm wrong.

Did you expect the management to say "Yes, we got Robin Lopez so we can now finally get rid of Bamba" even if that's their plan? I am not saying they are lying now, but this is a typical PR answer which may or may not be true.

Your totally missing the point. Do we actually get a tangible long term benefit for dumping him? Or is it about making you feel better. The only thing you guys can point to is the salary and its already fully guaranteed There is no down side to giving him 1 more year. He sucks he is gone period. I feel like most people just want to be right and to use it as a club to beat management over the head with and are not using their logical thinking skills in regard to him. There is this stupid narrative that the guy is lazy because of what one missed practice two years ago?? Trust me if they think there is absolutely nothing there like everyone on this board feels like and has real work ethic questions they wouldn't have picked up his 8 Million option or whatever it was last year. We all knew this guy was a 4-5 year project why everyone want to jump off the boat early for absolutely no gain is something I can't wrap my head around.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

You can use the PR argument to swing to whatever narrative you want to push. Look I can do it too. Do you really think the magic were planning on dumping Bamba after making this big pony show about the first thing Mosley doing is a working out with him? Look not saying its true but its the same argument both have no substance.

It's perfectly normal to have 3 Centers on an NBA roster...was Birch's signing the end of Bamba last year? Relax

It is so logical that the off-season for the 2022/23 is also crystal clear. This year is about player development; next year is about making the playoffs.

We have 3 backup Cs now and that's fine because 2022 is stacked with bigs. In perfect world we sign one, draft starting level C and flush the toilet on this current mediocrities
