The Simmons love makes even less sense
People seriously don't think scoring matters

People seriously don't think scoring matters? we are still talking about sports right?
Of course, if you think scoring is all that matters then yeah you will never appreciate a player that can pull those accolades before hitting 25 years old. (at 6'11 moving like a 6'1 athletic player). not to repeat myself too many times
3× NBA All-Star (2019–2021)
All-NBA Third Team (2020)
2× NBA All-Defensive First Team (2020, 2021) and 2nd DPOY
NBA steals leader (2020)

I appreciate that Ben has done all of that but what does that do for us when we already have great defenders and are giving up our number 1 option plus more

If Julius Randle, RJ Barrett and the zombie of DRose can get the Knicks the 4th seed because of their elite D, I'm sure that Fred, OG, Trent, Boucher and Simmons can get us even further with GOAT D.

Agree with this. We'd have to return to Toronto, though. Playing in Tampa killed us last year.

Lowry wanted to play w Bulter and it's better to help Miami than Philly. I don't think it really matters tbh bc we aren't winning any time soon. By the time we "may" have a chance to win, lowry and Butler will be too old to compete w us.
