He's been optioned, so S&T would be a good fit now. Just speculating since NO(and Mavs) like Dragic.

Why not? We need a dude taller than 6'9. JV would ball in Toronto...and we get off his money next summer. What's the big deal? It's not you paying the salary...and it isn't going to kill us long term. We don't need Dragic because we have a glut of backcourt players but have zero big men (Birch is kinda small).
Honestly...if you expect Dragic's salary to traded for an all-star...you're completely out to lunch and should stop smoking up during the day.
Temper your expectations...

To be fair he added a 2nd piece.... But the 2nd piece was coming our wayPJTucker wrote:Why would they trade JV for Dragic??? Unless we’re adding picks/assets that’s very unlikely.

Tell me who we should have signed in the 2019 offseason. Every available star stayed with their original team except Kawhi -- who we obviously were waiting on/hoping to get, so we didn't go spending money -- Durant and Kyrie (both to the Nets). Other available players included Brogdon (21M/yr), Randle (20M/yr), Bogdanovic (18M/yr), Rubio (17 Mm/yr), Young (15M/yr), Dedmon (13M/yr), etc. The FO did perfectly fine that offseason, bringing in RHJ and Thomas for combined 4M.Tor_Raps wrote:aligator wrote:Wrong on both counts. Raps getting more for Lowry than was available at deadline. The Dragic question has not been answered. There was only one possible landing spot as was the case with Lowry. The only reasonable criticism would be that there was lost opportunity in free agency but tell me what FA's were missed? Obviously the FO had no real interest in any at the prices that were being offered.
You realize that free agency always leads to most players getting overpaid right? If you're expecting that all of a sudden players take discounts It's, you'll never sign anyone.
It's been 3 offseasons in a row and we have only signed scrubs. This front office needs to become better at evaluating free agent talent that can actually help this team. Use some of that magic they have in the scouting draft picks.

Sorry but Paschall is worth more than that to me. Surprised more teams couldn't do better than that.
