I think there’s a deal that should make sense for everyone. However Masai has given zero indication of what our teams direction is

just to warn you that you might get some snarky replies about a Siakam trade because some Raps fans came in here and told us we needed to do the trade, we were in a position of weakness, and that Wiggins + our assets were worthless.

Most of us Warriors fans do not see Siakam as a good fit or worth the assets

Sorry I wasn’t aware. Just thought he’d be a nasty small ball 5

Siakim would be great on the Warriors. Most people here grossly overrate the Warriors assets though so you’ll probably won’t get anywhere with these trade proposals.

One issue i'd have with a trade in the next week or two is the fact that it couldn't get done before start of free agency. For example, a team with Beal would have a much higher odds of landing guys like Batum, Mills, etc. So if we do get a Beal deal done, kind of a bummer we didn't get a better chance at those guys.

Let's see how extremely they are motivated. I like 50c on the dollar motivations.

Would have to be for Wiggins--can't believe they would consider it.

are we trading dray? don't think so, so there's no place for simmons on the actual dubs. can't have them both on the floor.

I'm actually thinking the deal might be centered around Draymond.

Ugh. That would leave some holes on the roster.

I've been seeing a lot of "Lillard loves Draymond" chatter lately in the media.

Lillard also requested POR to target him last summer.

Hard to imagine we would swap him for only Simmons but you never know.

I would personally rather roll with Green.

Oh, no. That is not extreme motivation.

Wiggins, Moody and let me think about it.
Hope OPJ is healthy to start at SF and Simmons runs the second unit.

For a laugh, go to the tweet and read the replies from the Sixers fans. They are delusional.

I doubt the Warriors would consider trading Draymond, but can see people wrapping their heads around a deal starting with Draymond to Portland, CJ + pieces to Philly, and Simmons to Golden State……..

I don't want Simmons unless we are bending Philly over and giving them an extreme rodgering.

Even then, I balk at even having him here. He and Dray are a horrible fit in a team on offence. He has a really entitled personality and I'm not sure I even want him and his drama here. If we traded a major haul for him I'd be really disappointed. When I think long and hard about it, Wiggins may just be a better fit next to Steph, Dray and Klay anyway. Wiggins can score in the half court and shoot the 3.

Wiggins and the Eric Paschall 42-protected second round pick, let's do this.

Return to Golden State Warriors
