Deni/Bertans would be pushing it, but I could see asking. Beyond that, yeah, it's scorched earth.

It ties in nicely to the LA/Washington Kuzma deal. And then Indy ties in with the 22 for Aaron Holiday deal. Doesn’t seem crazy to somehow tie in Caruso S&T to the Bulls with Theis to Houston (TPE to LA?). Could even tie in New Orleans or SA with their respective S&T deals of DDR or Ball. Just grow it from there. Lots of single touches. Each team just has to touch one other team, etc.

In any 3 team or more trade, each team has to “touch”, or interact, with 2 other teams. That one could work pretty easy as the Chicago pick is going to Charlotte eventually, Ball to Chicago, Graham to NO. As long as salaries work with BYC and/or cap space, done.

I think it was Smitty on a local radio station today 1320, asked him what he knew. He said yeah it's on with the Boston, Atlanta, Kings they are just working out some details. Mentioned earlier Boston wanting to use a TPE that has now expired, but has other ones they could use. Maybe it's a minor hangup like that forcing them all to wait until Friday?

I think this is my new favorite outcome for Lauri. Similar to Dallas would love Charlotte finding a creative way to take a chance on him. Really actually love the long term big rotation of Lauri/PJ/Jones.

Did Charlotte keep the Martins and/or Carey? I think that’s all that would be needed to make the deal legal? Enough to get what counts for Graham’s number within 5 million of whatever Lauri makes. Think you could have Chicago/NOP do like a swap of 2nds just to hit. And then have Charlotte send some cash/2nds to Chicago for buying out whatever contracts they get stuck with.

Relationships are definitely a thing. But my guess is they definitely talked to OKC. Even if OKC originated the call -- like hey if you guys need help making the money work, we are open for business.

I'm just amused that Spurs fans have been killing a bunch of ideas on this board saying they have too many contracts and the team just added another one.
