DeMar and Lowry were always counted out by everyone to start the season. People always predicted us to be bottom of the east with them and we always out performed. Let's see if these guys can do the same.
I feel all signs point to tank as well, though I think if Masai learned anything from the aborted Lowry Knicks deal its that sometimes you gotta evaluate. I think they give them 20-30 games to see if they surprise and outperform expectations, but if not then Pascal and/or Fred get traded and they move on from this core and go full on rebuild

Been saying this since Lowry got traded to the Heat we're going to build through youth now. Our window to compete closed.
I could see them giving Fred, Pascal and OG another year together to develop their game. While we add another lottery pick to the team then upgrade our roster next year to compete for the playoffs.
Fred has to improve his three point shot by adding the deep three point shot to his game while still being efficient. And becoming a playmaker/floor general/leader.
Pascal just needs to be an efficient scorer. And people will be in love with him again. He also showed improved playmaking skills this year.
OG got to tighten his handles.
I think its doable if they are given the chance.
