We'll soon find out if Weaver and Casey see the same value in Frank and Hamidou that most of us do. I don't see as much value in Josh Jackson going forward and hope we can get something useful for him.

If we go into the season with McGruder and Okafor still here and no Frank Jackson or Ham Diallo, I might barf

You don't see much value in JJ but hope to get something useful back for him?

What would you give up to get him? Considering you don't see much value in him

I don't see as much value going forward. The presence of Cunningham and Diallo combined with Josh's inconsistency make him less valuable to the Pistons than Frank or Diallo

I am concerned that with reduced playing time Josh will become harder to move as the season progresses. I don't mind having him on the roster but if they intend to move him better sooner than later.

I don't think moving him is a realistic thing though.

As you stated he doesn't hold much value. We got him for cheap because of that and while he's showed flashes he's also shown why he's bounced around bit.

As he's a expiring deal no team with a competent GM should be looking to trade anything valuable for him.

You simply let the Pistons use him and teach him some more this season then throw a portion of your MLE at him next free agency.

Given the shooters we're likely to have on the floor this season I'm kind of curious if JJ can flip the switch more often. He does have s much promise but it seems a BBIQ thing more than anything else.

Someone needs to sit down with him and show him how to actually study game film

I liked Josh some last year but I think I’ll like him more when they don’t have to play him because they don’t have anyone else(large parts of last season). The improved wings roster this should be some strong motivation to come in focused and productive because if he doesn’t there will be more minutes for the wings that do. He has the talent to do it. Bring them all back.

Has anyone heard any teams interested in Jackson or Diallo?

I was trying to see if any beat writers from other teams had mentioned them.

I was looking for news on Frank Jackson and saw a Free agent tracker. 124 players and Frank Jackson is no where to be found lol. Hopefully that’s good for us.

Frank Jackson was instant offense for us off the bench in April and May, dude stepped up his game nicely and became this team's "Microwave." Will be seriously disappointed if the Pistons don't retain him.
