NY, Wash, Chicago, Charlotte all overrated.

I really like what Chicago did. The rest are meh.

But Chicago.... That team could surprise a lot of people. Lonzo is really solid and Demar changed his game in San Antonio. He could fit in perfectly as they have lots of outside shooting.

They better add to the roster then because as constructed were getting another top 10 pick

I think Chicago was desperate to get in the playoffs for next season but they are now locked into this SL for few years now. I just dont see the upside.

Don't know what the roster will be once the S&T is finished, but even without knowing, our roster construction will be fine, and you'll be wrong. Quite wrong.

I agree but if this team struggles wouldn’t surprise me to see resting of guys down the road during our season to try and lose as many games as possible similar to last season.

Not one center on the list. Thought our management would have learned the importance of having good center play. Birch would be a great backup C and I hope we can trade for a good starting one otherwise this season will be tough to watch.

OKC Thunder are allergic to anyone who can play on the court it seems lol. This kid deserves to be on a roster.

Got Achiuwa and Birch at the 5.

Season will be fine... it's a development year but at the same time we'll be in the playoffs

I'm glad they didnt pay mediocre guys like Holmes.

Just sit back and enjoy. No need to complain. Got the best gm in the game.

Josh Hart is a rebounding/intangibles wing that I could see the front office being interested in. Could make up for some rebounding deficiency at the 5.

I think one of the goals this season, while the team will no doubt struggle at times, is to focus very much on team competitiveness and playing hard at all times. I'm sure all the resting last season was a result of the Covid devastated losing streak that sank us, and playing basically 72 road games and the team brass had to make the decision they did, but knowing how competitive they all are, it was tearing them up inside and they don't want to re-live the experience.

I gotta ask. Seeing lots of peeps saying Masai did Lowry "a solid" by doing the S&T. Perhaps, partly... but Masai did Toronto "a solid" there because that's the only way he could get value back instead of losing Lowry for nothing... and you got paid for it with Achiuwa. Why is it so hard for people to describe these things accurately? :P

Anyway, if Masai/Toronto would actually like to help someone out of the graciousness of their hearts, well, Dallas will take Siakim off your hands for Porzingis and 1 FRP. You could send Porzingis to GSW for some combination of Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody. GSW doesn't seem especially keen on Siakim as they've got Klay coming back from his injuries and they're not seeing a great fit with Draymond... but they might be keener on the fit with Porzingis.

Toronto is not the natural habitat for a Cameroonian, so you'd be doing Paskal a real solid too... before he becomes disgruntled and forces his way out. :D

I just have this weird feeling that either one of these two things happens:

1) Siakam to the Kings or;
2) Simmons to the Raps

Can Oubre play SG? I dont really like him but he would be nice talent if we can have him for cheap.

Unless Achiuwa has improved tremendously in only a season, he's more of a 3rd string than a starting center in the NBA.

Calling out our teams glaring weakness shouldn't really be considered whining btw lol.

He can. I mentioned him a few pages back as well. He had a very inconsistent season last season but he really turned it back on in the 2nd half. I still think he has a lot of talent.

He fits the Lengthy/Wingspan/Versatility/Defense aspect the Raptors are going for. He's only 25 yrs old too. He has the potential to still break out.

I wouldn't mind him at all depending on how much money we got left
