This is also the first real test for Slovenia. Slovenia has the best player, Luka, but France has more NBA talent and they're also taller and have played great defense throughout the tournament. I like France to advance to the finals.

USA vs. France in the final.

slovenia is lucky they face weak group they are lock to final. australia will win as usual.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Wait, the American public screamed they were cheated when they lost in swimming?? Or do you mean a single American swimmer suggested that Russian swimmers (who can't compete under their own flag because of doping) might not be clean? The British swimmer agreed, btw.

No the American public screamed Australia cheated on a changeover.

Please tell me more about this great outrage from the "American public." I watched all the swimming live, read and watch a lot of coverage and never heard a single thing about this.

Edit: after googling, I assume you mean random twitter users, generating very few likes, used by the Aussie press to generate headlines that will gin up outrage and get clicks. Our press is the worst at that. Don't fall for it. You can find tweets saying all kinds of idiotic stuff if you look for them.

Simmons accent does a good job of highlighting one of the many reasons why he's a clown. He developed a pretty much full on American accent after a year in the US, meanwhile guys like Mills/Bogut/Ingles/Exum sound almost exactly the same now as they did 10 years ago.
IMO, that alone says enough about the type of guy Simmons is

As itsxtray says above, it gets more complicated than white Aussies are willing/able to understand when you’re talking about a young POC with a Black American father trying to fit in amongst a mostly Black American NBA world. Bogut types would certainly be the ones to judge him harshly/call him out for that. The fact of the matter is most Aussies wouldn’t be half as hard on him if he’d chosen to suit up for one of your perpetually 4th place teams over the years.

Anyway, U.S women giving the Opals a little taste of what’s gonna happen to the Boomers tomorrow. Love to see it.

There's some truth to this, I reckon.
Said as a white Aussie, ironically.

Such a ridiculous conversation.
Simmons is a Boomer regardless of how his accent sounds....I mean just inane.

Simmons sitting out these Olympics and the last World Championship is unfortunate and solely down to Simmons' insecurity within his NBA franchise.

Hopefully by the time Paris 2024 rolls around Simmons is settled in his career and can join the Paris Olympic campaign.

Good luck to the Boomers today!!
While massive underdogs today you blokes have had a great Olympics and I hope you can come away with a medal.
But it's not everything.

Wow, an insult from 41 years ago, very fresh. I was going to tell you to not have a cow but that was last 80s, not 1980.

Besides, the excuse if USA losses will be that we didn't have our best players. Which is true, but we still have enough talent that we should win.

If you VPN to Australia the 7+ app/website has it. Not sure if that works but it's an option.

I'm sure you can watch a reply of it on peacock later...but might have to wait a day.
