15/10 over how many games? I didn't watch him play much because he was riding the pine in the playoffs.

And I thought this team had potential to be more than a play in team who will likely get their asses kicked. Just needed to take care of the Center spot adequately.

When he had minutes he produced, and that was on a playoff team. To say he's a 3rd stringer is flat out false, when's clearly shown enough to be a back up. I'm not sure where you're judgement is on him but everyone knows he's a solid young prospect in the league, so do some homework lol.

Center spot is taken care of, along with our cap. Paying holmes a glorified energy guy is just a waste of money. It's a development year and will be in the playoffs ... not sure what's so diffcult to understand. Seems too many people are out to lunch on this board, no offence.

I said he's more a 3rd stringer than he is a starting center, not that he is a 3rd stringer only. Backup seems perfectly good for him but problem is that Birch is a backup player too.

That is not a good position to be in no matter how much of a Raptors Homer you are, no offense.

Homer? lol. It's called being a fan and understanding the direction of the team. They doing it right going young with upside. As I said, enjoy the ride. If you want mediocrity, and since you dont understand proper team building in the nba, you can always cheer for the knicks

I never once said we should have thrown unnecessary money at any center just for the sake of it. I just hoped we would have filled out our clear position of weakness last year with actual starting calibre talent.

Still a lot of time in the offseason so let's see how things shake out. BTW Birch is 28 lol.

You're original comment was that we were doomed if we didn't get a real centre. Please explain what real center you wanted. You cant because there is none, thus why I said us not paying Holmes who's avergage is the smart move. And I just told you we have Achiuewa and Birch... and Yes, he's 28 what's your point? lol

Don't know what the roster will be once the S&T is finished, but even without knowing, our roster construction will be fine, and you'll be wrong. Quite wrong.

Hard to be wrong when I'm right. Like I said "as constucted" this is a lotto team. Of course that can change if they make some big acquisitions.

I think they'd do that for Beal not Simmons.

Simmons not having a shot doesnt do much on golden state other than the extra playmaking which they dont need.

Beal makes way more sense cuz teams have to play it honest and cant cheat as they would if simmons was there.

Wouldn't mind keeping Dragic since he's pretty good. Get another asset or 2 from MIA and either trade Dragic at the deadline or keep him if we're in a good spot for the playoffs.

Siakam next to Embiid looks nice. And lowkey I think Dragic would also be a nice fit, I just think salaries dont work there. But if Masai can get more assets from Dallas for Dragic, he could turn them over to Philly like a Josh Green.
