Australia gonna finally get that USA monkey off their back unless something drastically changes. I mean from the opening tip they've dominated this one.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

USA has no **** idea what they're doing on either end of the floor.

It sure would be nice if the team had an actual PG or center on the roster.

Just look at Tatum moving off the ball. Totally loafing at half speed.

This is the worst USA team I’ve seen in my lifetime, even the 2004 team at least had Duncan.
G - James | Rondo
G - Bradley | Caruso
F - Green | Caldwell-Pope
F - Davis | Kuzma | Morris
C - McGee | Howard

I disagree.
Right now i would rank the favourites to win Gold like this:
Slovenia
Spain
Australia
USA

The two best teams just went head to head. They very well might be meeting again in the finals.

Been wrong about Spain though!

this is why ingles needs to get paid close to max. once these chuckers gets max, all they do is role model the chucker and not learn the basics. nba is entertainment league no competitiveness.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

The USA looks like the team of the street ballers playing against organized pro basketball team, still so much talent on that team but can't play good team basketball.

I'd be shocked if the US pulls this one out. Australia's defense is so much better it's not even funny (like they move together as one unit), and they almost never settle for isos even as the clock is winding down.
