They should have definitely brought him in. Seeing as they are just chucking threes anyway, get a guy that can make them.

It's amazing that in FIBA play Patty Mills and Dante Exam make Middleton and Tatum look like scrubs.

1/11 from three

imagine if they just go 5/10 on those shots from 2pt? game would be tied.

That's insane. Don't get me wrong, Australia has dominated the first half, but between that Patty Mills 3 and an earlier Exum 3, they've made two late shot-clock, low-percentage, heavily contested, fluke-ish 3s.

Bam's defensive instincts are really bad actually, I always thought he was good on that end

Been watching Team USA pretty religiously since 2006 and it's still hard to get used to how different it can be.

Mind blowing that we're 1/11 from 3 with some of the shooters on this team

Or even just 3/11 (which is still just 27%), it'd be a 4 point game right now.

Give Australia credit, though, they haven't given the U.S. hardly any open looks from 3.

Australia really is playing outstanding defense. I want to complain about the 3-point shooting but there isn't an open shot anywhere.
