To play like absolute **** and still be so much better than Australia that we’re only down 3 is kinda badass. Took their punch.
The Milwaukee Bucks are NBA Champions.

Lol @ all these hot takes, these dudes don't play together. The Aussies have way, way more experience playing together.

Tatum is one of the most polarizing players in the league. So much variance from him game to game, I’ve seen him dominate like he’s Kobe and play like a rookie.

The US is figuring it out, they need to keep creating turnovers. Those threes need to go down too. It seems like holiday has way too much of an offensive burden on this team. You might hope the ball gets out of his hands earlier.

I dunno if it’s the intensity or depth of the other teams but it seems like errors kick in so much quicker.

Aus is on damn fire. Usa has to keep up the intensity and stop with the damn TOs

Horrible end to the half. Started getting careless with the ball. We also need to get defensive rebounds. I thought we deserved to be up more. Australia has played better in the second half all Olympics, hopefully the trend continues

Been watching Team USA pretty religiously since 2006 and it's still hard to get used to how different it can be.

And I have no idea why. Why do all of these US players look lost. Do t they have a college 3pt line? Maybe that's it. The spacing is limited.

Also, maybe that's a way to make the NBA better. Adopt FIBA rules and kill the whole 'pace+space' thing. This feels like 90s ball

I think it's just lack of chemistry. most of these guys are the stars that their own team revolves around. now they have to figure out how to play together. all of them deferring to one of another (except KD).

I don't buy that argument, they are all stars and the superstars in the best league in the world, they had enough of time to adjust, they shouldn't look like this.

It's a bunch of factors. Style of play, bad habits, smaller court, different rules, less cohesion, guys used to playing with the ball and not off, etc etc etc etc. In this case, just have to tip your cap to Australia. It's frustrating, but they played a really solid half, especially on defense. We're clawing for every bucket.

I thought covid was the reason he got off to a slow start this past season, but he had some heater games along the way. Still confused what to make of him tbh, it’s a **** roller coaster with him.

Don't matter, Australia will win. Aussies play like a team and they play hard. USA no team play, just one on one offense and lazy defense.

Turnovers, defensive rebounds. Then they can run and put some pressure on Australia's defense.

If team usa loses early collangelo is solely responsible

There’s no reason this team shouldn’t have Zion or Trey.
