I'd rather have either over last year's rotation (Hernangomez, Okogie and Vanderbilt).

Note: McDaniels is more of a SF, IMO.

Ther latest challenge with Markkanen is he is looking for more $$ in the sign & trade than teams are comfortable with. He either stays with CHI or takes less elsewhere than he wants. Not sure how that will pan out. He has talent and size, but not very durable.

How did I never notice before right now that his first name wasn’t “A-aron?”

Off-topic tangent, I have a real 'thing' about people using creative/incorrect spelling of widely accepted names. It isn't Aron, it's Aaron. Just like it's ridiculous that there's multiple accepted variations of Jarrod, pick one (preferably the one I used) and stick to it.

The important news for us is that Vanderbilt and McLaughlin haven’t made deals with anyone else.

I’d be happy to have both back, on small deals.

Would like to have them back and get Bolmaro here… then move Okogie and/or Culver

It's not what I wanted or what is exciting but if healthy, we very well could be a much better team next season.

Dlo will be healthy and comfortable.

KAT healthy

Ant and McDaniels with an offseason of improvement

Motivated Beasley

Someone like Balmaro, Nowell, Knight, McKinely could blow up.

Full camp under Finch and his advanced coaching.

I mean it's not crazy that we could make a 15-20 game jump. That just may be what we have to bank on to start the season.

It wasn’t sexy, but Patty Mills to the Nets was the best overall FA deal this off-season. He’s ring chasing for sure but his productivity, contract and fit with the Nets is pure gold.

Yeah, this is where I'm at.

We'll still have significant weaknesses. And if we can't improve the defence we're going to live and die by our shooting. But Ryan Saunders was such a god awful coach compared to Finch that we should improve just from that alone. Not to mention either less COVID stuff or just being more used to that weirdness should help some guys that struggled last year, on top of what you already mentioned.

I think we have to realise that, without a traditional big market, we have to offer these FAs something. Either money, a chance to win, a chance for significant playing time or some combination of the above. Unfortunately right now we're not winning, we have no money and the only position we COULD offer guys playing time at is one that's been fairly thin in this FA.

But who knows? Maybe we can swing a deal somewhere, somehow for someone.

If that's ultimately where we're at...say Lauri or Kuzma....I might roll the dice say on Bagley over both & resign the rfa's (to other points). Yep...Bagley has plenty of warts as well, but with where he's at on the rook contract it's team options to rfa...if it suddenly turns around...should be least risk?
