I love that Lavine is dunking it. Bulls fans have to be psyched for how confident he’s going to come in to next season (along with the new cast)

Lamelo with a broken wrist would have been more effective.

Dame just isnt built for Fiba ball. Looks for calls, harder to get 3s off, doesnt play defense.

People underestimate Jrue sometimes because he's a jack of all trades. He's not necessarily a playmaker, a scorer, a shooter. The flip side of that is that he doesn't really have a weakness. He's rock solid everywhere on offense and he can defend anybody on the perimeter

Disagree.. these are fun games to watch.

I'm old enough to remember an hour ago when people were guaranteeing the US couldn't come back and win the game.

USA lacks the over the top athletes led by a proper PG like Kidd to get the fast break dunks going :(

Like that alley-oop of Lavine.

Indeed. And even that was a super vanilla setup. Still can't hate on the easy win, that's how it should be for them. Frankly embarrassing otherwise.

Don't matter, Australia will win. Aussies play like a team and they play hard. USA no team play, just one on one offense and lazy defense.

Oof.

Not sure what I want to see more. I mean part of me wants to see Luka try to completely take down the world on his way to a gold, but I'd also like to see the USA revenge game against France. Like the announcers said, three of our core players (Booker, Middleton, and Holiday) arrived the morning of our loss to France in pool play while losing nearly an entire day due to the time zone change.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

So, story of Australia - talks the talk, gets beaten like a drum in the semis.
Clown team well suited for their annoying fans.

1st 15 minutes: 41 points
Final 25: 37

Saint Durant kept us in it and the defense was just outstanding as the game wore on. Props to Australia though, that first half was nerve wracking. Really, really quality defensive performance.
