Let me repeat what I said when we first heard about this trade (or was it the Holiday acquisition?): Tommy SHEPPARD has pulled another Gafford trade.

Nice to have a little more flexibility on the back end.

Hate that we're giving up that 2022 second to dump Hutchinson, that one is going to be a good one.

I really hope it's just A 2022 2nd, at least then the Wizards would have a chance to acquire one at the trade deadline that they could ship.

We still have a couple other 2022 2nd rounders

Looks like the Pistons one is the one that the Spurs will get.

That sucks, the Pistons pick is likely going to be in 31-35 range.

Apparently, there is yet another 2nd round pick going to the Lakers, the 2023 Chicago pick. So that makes five 2nd rounders plus a potential 2nd round pick swap. On the flip side, Fred Katz is reporting that the third year of the Dinwiddie deal has a partial guarantee but didn't say how much.

Yeah... Im not happy about the picks, so Im just hoping that Kuz/Harrell have more value than what we sent out. I.E. Instead of sending Kuz/Harrell to the Nets, we sent the picks plus TPE and will makeup the loss when we (eventually) move some of these guys.

Looks good to me assuming Dinwiddie (what a name to grow up with, Spencer Dinwiddie  ) has recovered from his injury. He was playing well before the super friends assembled.

If nothing else seems we have some depth...

Bryant, Kuzma, KCP, Beal, Dimwit
Gafford, Bertans, Rui, Kispert, Holiday
Harrell, Todd, Deni, Mathews, Neto

Gil, Hutchison, Homesly, Winston ???

Mathews hasn't been signed yet.

Maybe Gil sticks while Bryant starts season on IR, then he's waived once Bryant is ready?

If it were baseball, you bet -- can't do that in the NBA!

Tomorrow's the day for Gill -- either we cut him or his contract is guaranteed.

They won't sign Gill. It's Mathews or nobody.

I doubt that Spencer is going to ever be better than Beal. But if he is I’d be thrilled. That would give the Zards 2 top 10 NBA guards.

Kispert would get crispy burned if he has to guard 2s in the Association.

I think Holiday will be the backup PG.

I don’t know why KCP starts. He’s a shooting guard and should backup Beal. Kuzma, Avidja, and Kispert can battle for the small forward spot.
