What? We have TRoss , Okeke and Franz for the SF spot. In emergencies we use MCW and RJ. We don't really need another role-playing SF.

I was thinking... what we really need is a headless chicken with a propensity for setting illegal screens.
To that end, I don't think we could've done any better.

This has far and away been the best offseason of Weltman's tenure in my opinion. Interested to see if he can turn it around from here and continue to build off of it.

It just seems to me that he is finally allowed to build the team the way he wants to now that we got rid of the old regime's personnel. It has been refreshing to see.
I am interested as well to see how this front office puts it all together. I am just thrilled that he hit the reset button when he did.

1,7m - 1,9m should be his NBA CBA minimum right?

Re: Magic sign F/C Moritz Wagner to a 2-Year Contract (Robbins)
I am happy Moritz Wagner is returning.
He played solid minutes towards the end of last season and some of us did wonder if it was a prelude to bringing in his brother Franz Wagner.
As for Chuma Okeke and Franz Wagner playing 3 or 4, let's see how that plays out. I think Chuma can eventually play the 3 and Franz will probably get some minutes there too.
That will be key to them getting more minutes this season.

That is the league minimum for a player with his number of years in the league, yes.

Re: Magic sign F/C Moritz Wagner to a 2-Year Contract (Robbins)
Very rarely do players sign for multiple guaranteed years at the minimum. Usually neither side - player or team - wants that.
My assumption is that second year is going to be an option one way or the other. Probably a player option now that we know it's a minimum salary.

Throw them all in there and figure it out. The cream always rises to the top.Howard Mass wrote:I am happy Moritz Wagner is returning.

Moe Wagner has reached and agreement to renew with Orlando Magic.
The contract length will be 2 years for 10 millions and will play with his brother Franz.
Btw...I don't know if we can trust this account. Even if it does say "via Josh Robbins"...hmmm

Must be another deal in the works, since they haven't officially signed him yet.
