Our starter unit can be entirely composed of top 6 picks, which only goes to show you how much it doesn't really matter how high players are drafted.

I do not really understand the point of this post.
For example, many foreign players who then became NBA stars as Jokic or Ginobili were 2nd round picks...
It shows absolutely nothing.

That's the thing, though. Our average is 14, but I imagine most would trade that for an average of 29 if that were four #1 picks and 7 #45 picks

Minnesota has two #1 and one #2 pick in their starting lineup and none of them have been bust, but not a superstar either. Doesn't help in W column much.
