because Herro and Duncan cant be on the court together and they defiantly cant pay both. The organization was always going to pay one and they chose Duncan. Could had easily done and sign and trade and gotten 2 or 3 more players with his money or signed a legit big to play next to bam while putting Herro at the starting rotation.

One is a starter, the other one is not. Two different playing styles. Worried about defense the few minutes they are on the court together? Figure it out! Plus, Herro is on a rookie contract. Why are we worrying about what we are going to pay him right now? You have two good assets that you can play. Keep developing Herro. Yes, you can always use him in a trade for a big name at anytime or perhaps he ends up a better player than Duncan in two years... we worry WAY too much over paying players around here like we write the checks. Someone is going to get paid that money either way and right now this team is better with Herro on the roster.

Let's not confuse starter with better. He's a better player than Duncan now, they just have him galavanting in all these roles because he's "versatile".

See this is that nut a** homerism. I didn't have a problem with UD coming back last year, clearly his leadership meant something in the bubble and he wanted to come back and see the team over the top but they punked out in the playoffs and let him down. I love the guy, no player has been a better representative of this organization imo. Retire his jersey day 1, give him any job he wants, all of that. But are we really about to do this again?

Reggie Jackson is still available.

Seems likely that he's heading back to LA but the fact that his name has been quiet is kinda unexpected after his impressive playoff run.

Are you suggesting we aren't going to sign Yurtseven or are you referring to no other bigs in addition to him other than Haslam?

All the more reason to root for the Warriors to make it out of the West past the Lakers.

Good for Iggie.

If on this of all teams where injuries and covid just ravaged us, we go and essentially cancel 2 roster spots between Oladipo and UD, I don't know what to say.

It's gotten so corny at this point. People here debating about the validity of the 15th roster spot when in actuality it's Oladipo's since he will be out for months. We now have guys like KZ,Vincent, and Strus who could all be considered 14-15th roster spot type talents occupying key roles on the bench. We still have vets sitting on the wire who can play and we are talking about giving away a roster spot to another player who can't play. How far down the rabbit hole has this fan base been brainwashed with this whole UD can take a roster spot forever bull crap. Total cultish not culture way of thinking. If one man decides culture we have no culture.

So we gonna have Bam, Dedmond, Cousins, Yurtseven and UD? We currently have Lowry and Vincent as our PG depth and Jimmy and Strus at SF. why would we want to add 5 centers?

Bam, Dedmon, Yurtseven, Kieff, and Tucker is all we need at this point at the power rotation. That has been taken care of. We are starving right now at the backup SF and PG spot.
