I've always liked Mo Bamba the person. I'm rooting for him to finally put things together on the court.

Seems like a nice guy to hang around with. Also won against Magruder, I recognize that effort.

Great to hear that:
He reached out to coach on day one as he thought it was a MUST to have a great relation with new coach
He is working on his post game, his condition AND his motor
He is practicing with the summer league guys

Re: One on One with MO Bamba
I’m happy for Magruder, you can see him living out his dream interviewing these athletes. Exciting for Bamba because it is a contract year. Can’t wait to see what he does this year with the rest of the team.

Re: One on One with MO Bamba
He's a smart kid and self-aware...he knows he's been disappointing. I'm sure he's more disappointed than anyone. Kudos to him for recognizing the clean slate he's been given and the opportunity he's got THIS year. Everyone must know it's Bamba OR WCJ going forward and may the best man win. Hopefully, he's doing whatever he can to get back on the track projected for him pre-draft.
I'm rooting for him. WCJ is better than him, but much more limited on both ends, IMO.

Bamba is working hard this summer and he is now training with Summer League team.
I wish him success down the road and he seems pretty smart to me.
Anything can happen!

I know right! Love his personality. I can see why he got by on interviews with his demeanor, SIZE, athleticism and growing skillset. I really hope he pulls i together while on OUR team. Just the thought of him, Isaac, Wagner, Okeke ... and Hopefully WCJ could be the scariest and most versatile young front courts in the league. I can just imagine a team going for a game winning inboud pass... with Bamba flailing in front of the inbound cover nearly the entire court.... and Franz and Isaac patrolling the court. 5 second call and Steal rates would be scary. hahaha
Just gotta light that fire under him. Hopefully, a summer of hard work... new vigor with his teammates and new coach helps him turn the corner in a big way
