From James Ham:
The 27-year-old big man was a top priority for the Kings in free agency. While the Kings' have a policy of not revealing contract details, it appears that Holmes was retained using Early Bird rights, which is a contract in the neighborhood of four years, $47 million.

The initial news is a few days old and I’m still super freaking happy. When he actually signed on the dotted line, it was a big sigh of relief. The Kings offseason is a success just based off of this (I’m still mad that Mitchell was the pick at 9 though—even if he is actually a good player).
