One idea that I don't know if it is plausible would be to within this deal with Miami is to expand it with Chicago.
Toronto sends out Dragic and Boucher (combined $26m) to Chicago
Chicago S+T for Lauri Markannen ($25m starting with declining salary over three years) to Toronto
Toronto gets a starting scoring C to add to a pretty defensive line-up, while Chicago gets a defensive replacement for Lauri in Boucher - plus Dragic who can back-up Ball.
I am not a cap expert, so I am not sure if this is even doable.
This is very doable, except that Chicago might want more compensation for allowing us to get Markkanen.
I'm not sure he fits what the Raptors are looking for, as well.
