I saw that twitter fantasy yesterday and thought it was a fun read. Anyways, yahoo reported today that Leonard is close to an agreement with the Clips. No surprise.

I will say his 1.8 3FG per game is troubling and worthy of consideration. He doesn't have the fastest jumper either. It's by no means broken or something that won't translate, but it's not like I'm watching Donovan Mitchell.
Agreed, there's validity in concerns about the readiness. Super low volume, not a willing shooter from deep yet. I'm just combating the wizard guy comparing him to Simmons/Carter-Williams or whoever. Springer's shooting profile is clearly better than those guys. I expect both he and Maxey to be good three point shooters in year 3 of their rookie contracts.

People who thought Kawhi was getting out of LA were really foolish.
He's from there and was angling for getting to LA since his landing on the Raptors, why would he just abandon all of that?

I think he can be a good shooter. Above league average 3pt shooter.
But I dont think he’ll ever be a shotcreator. His ball handling is basic. He is a straight line driver. Most of his shotcreating points is just by shooting over guys which would be hard in the NBA.
I see him as a 3&D guard. Like a smaller jeremy lamb? If he develops a guard skill, he’d probably be like Bucks version of Brogdon.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

That’s who I see as well, Brogdon light

Because he’s 18 and looks unspectacular but with decent stats, I’ll place he’s ceiling at Jrue.

Do Philly look at Exum? He’s had some impressive outings for the Boomers at the Tokyo Olympics. He would come cheap and will only get better if he remains injury free.

Re: 2021 FA Thread
I've always been an Exum fan. Had a rough start to his career and was never as good as projected, but he's a versatile guard with good size that can defend a few positions, handle the basketball, and hit shots. I would love to sign him.

Re: 2021 FA Thread
I think Exum was objectively terrible in a Cavs uniform the last time we saw him in the NBA. I don't think he brings any consistent trait to the table to justify him taking a roster spot and/or playing time over any of the young guys we're trying to develop.

Jimmy Butler just got max extended into the start of his age 36 season. Seems about right IMO.

No, your perspective is only warped to see that because you're irrationally caping up for every player from Aus, regardless if they're good or not.
I'm a big fan of Josh Green. I think he can be the next Gary Harris. Bring him up and I'll say nice things.

We’ve got Tisse, Dame’s trainer, and ? Need Morey to keep finding the links! I imagine Jo’s doing some recruiting as well.
