Awesome!

This means we should be penciled in as a contender for the next 5 seasons, regardless of what happens with either Kyrie or Harden. And if one of the other two sign, erase the pencil markings and re-write ‘contender’ with a ballpoint pen.

We also keep the Big 3 potentially around Cam Thomas who could really develop into CJ McCollum 2.0 with these guys helping his growth for years to come.

Wonderful day for Nets fans.

Not to be disrespectful to you or him, but I couldn’t care less about Cam Thomas’s future in relation to the Big 3.

The majority of players picked at the end of the first round end up as journeymen, despite so many having pre-draft comparisons to current stars and all stars.

There are aspects of his game that leave a lot to be desired. I just hope that he can mesh with the team well and will be an on-court net positive.

Again, don’t mean to be a Debbie downer, but Cam Thomas is FAR from my mind when I think about KD’s extension with us and its ramifications.

I clicked the link, read the title, and was going to come back and comment about why should we be thinking about the Knicks immediately after a positive Nets story.

Then I noticed the date and realized that this wasn’t a video from 2 years ago before KD signed with the Nets, but rather from today!

I’ll say this…it’s really sad that SAS and the media can’t stop tying every superstar to the Knicks or the Lakers. You’d swear that those were the only cities/teams in America along with Miami and Orlando (because of Disney), given how much they’re talked about on ESPN.

I used to tolerate SAS but after the Kwame Brown fiasco, I don’t watch anything SAS or First Take related. It has lost all appeal. He (and Stephen Jackson to a lesser degree) say they’re pro-black but are paid mostly to denigrate and make fun of athletes in predominantly African American sports. I can’t rock with that. But let me digress, because that’s a whole different topic.

Let’s stay focused on KD and Brooklyn.

I can't listen to All the Smoke or Stephen A anymore after the Kwame Brown incident.

I necessarily don't get down with some of the rhetoric Kwame used to insult these guys, but the message was spot on. How are you going to claim to be pro Black and yet you make your living tearing down other Black men for the sake of white executives who want click bait every morning?

The way Kyrie Irving has been insulted and belittled is a disgrace. Irving is a goddamn humanitarian and they treat him like he's a scumbag.

I need Nash to get that lively when teams go on 18 to 5 runs and he's staring into space on the sidelines

Sick. Wouldn't have expected him to sign a 4 years extension. Figured maybe another 2-3 years, but this is great.

I’d expect Harden and Kyrie’s extensions to follow. I’d assume those guys talk and know the others plans before they make their decision.

Harden and Ky are shoe ins to re up with the Nets. The biggest news about this is that this is a three-four year plan and I am certainly looking forward to at least the Nets hoisting one trophy. All they need is one trophy and everything I have seen with this franchise will be solidified. Marks has turned this Nets team into a big market Spurs. Yes people, the Nets time is here and we have one of the greatest players of all time and I cannot believe I am saying this.

You guys will be contenders and favorites for the next 4-5 yrs. And when you have a team like yours even without capspace you'll get guys to come on discounts just to win rings.
