It didn't cost them the game, Blazic (IIRC?) also had a tech, Frech coach had a tech, Fournier had the offensive foul that gave SLO possession while leading with a minute to go, it's a game with ups and downs you can't pinpoint single point here and there.
If there's anything he needs to fix is his tendency to gamble on defense, this also is a sign of fatigue.

I didn't say that he cost them the game. I said that 1 point can cost you the game. That was 1 point, but there are many turnarounds in a game.

Don't forget a clear missed goaltending that took away 2 points from Slovenia. And another potential goaltending later on. We were a bit unlucky yes.

And don't forget the time with 3 minutes left in the 4th when the timekeeper "forgot" to restart the shot clock after an offensive rebound, leading to a bad shot, 2 points for Slovenia and a T for France.

And how many techs did Slovenia get because refs missed the play?

2 techs for Slovenia to 1 for France, so pretty even, especially considering that Slovenian team spends more time complaining than any other team, especially Doncic (still my favorite player though).
I'm just saying it's funny people keep talking about that missed goaltending but keep omitting that clock (and refs) incident that led to a 3 points swing for Slovenia.

Refs made mistakes for both sides.

There was a 5 point swing in France favor earlier when refs missed the call. Replay showed it. I mean... i only said we were unlucky with the goaltending, you brought up the rest. Bad calls were on both sides indeed but don't act like Slovenia was complaining just for the sake of complaining. France deserved the win at the end regardless.

Well if you consider that was a 5 point swing in favor of France, the shotclock mistake was also a 5 point swing in favor of Slovenia and replay showed that the ball touched the rim.
Once again, the refs made even mistakes yet people talk like Slovenia got screwed.
Not saying Slovenia complains just for the sake of complaining, but they clearly are the biggest complainers of that tournament.

Actually it's not even a goaltending according to the official FIBA rules :

Goaltending occurs during a shot for a field goal when a player touches the ball while it is completely above the level of the ring and:
• It is on its downward flight to the basket, or
• After it has touched the backboard.

You can watch the replay, the ball was clearly not at the level of the rim.
So actually France was unlucky with refs mistakes, not Slovenia.

Yes, but that's not the play i was talking about. It was earlier when we had a FT shot. Ball was starting to go through the rim and French player hang on the rim then ball bounced out. That's not allowed even in FIBA.

Who cares, Slovenia couldnt hit 50% from FT. Slovenia again had technicals, Slovenia was shooting below 30% for 3pt. You deserve to lose at that point

A European team has never eliminated Team USA and they never will. I was worried about Australia in the first half (Australia sounds a lot like Argentina) but I haven't been this sure of a win since game 6 of the 2020 finals

I exactly see what action you are talking about, and we did not see the same thing (maybe i al wrong, maybe you are). I saw Batum only touching the ball above the basket, and a Slovenian, who actually hangs the rim.
