I'd like to take this opportunity to beat a very dead horse - it pisses me off to no end to watch how focused and engaged Batum is in the Olympics. What a genuine asset he could've been to this team as a wily do-it-all vet.

Well it was kinda obvious for us (for me at least, its not like i did not say it) after having seen him in the last world championship as he was also good defensively. I guess it was just bad timing overall (and a bad contract obviously). Batum is not any kind of alpha and he cant play under pressure/under the spotlights.

But he was worth something, unlike many thoughts were thinking (even for a last year at 27). Anyway this is past now. When i see the contracts handled this year, the risk of having another 2016 failure is really close (yes i am focusing on Miles considering the risk of throwing a ridiculous extension). Generally i look forward, i am glad for my national team but he will be just a bad memory if Kupchak & cie dont mess up this franchise's current building.

ps : and omg YES Doncic is fr. annoying no matter how talented he is. And grats to Mills yes, class act dude and obviously a symbol for Australians.

The NFL season is here and like Basketball I also like underdogs in football as well. If there is ONE player that I feel should have been chosen in the draft that wasn't it's Zach Thomas from APP State. He even beat my Tar Heels. Dude is athletic and has an arm and has that it factor. I dunno why he wasn't drafted. I would have taken him over Lawrence, and that other Zach Wilson.

Wow...that's a pretty wild story. Can't remember anything quite like this happening before!

On a more positive side note...just bought 5 tickets for Hornets at Nets on Sunday Oct 24th, the 3rd game of the year! Super pumped! Going to my 2nd live Hornets game! Let me know if you guys see a 6'5 white guy with a Miles Bridges jersey screaming at the top of his lungs

According to the indictment, the former players, led by ex-Celtic Terrence Williams, conducted a plan to defraud the NBA benefits plan by submitting the terribly-faked medical and dental claims to be reimbursed for those expenses.

Looks like T Will was the "Mastermind" and received kickbacks from the other guys for facilitating their false claims.
