I can see a scenario where Bucks sell next season Brook for 2nds to bring back DDV/Allen/Portis in 10ish deals. But let's not worry about this so early.

Just a quick look though. Bucks have already tied for 2022 to Jrue/Midds/Giannis/Lopez/Hill/Pat (opt in) 140 mil. They will have Bird rights to bring back DDV/Allen/Portis, which means that just retaining their Top 9 will cost 170 mil. With the cap going up it's not unlikely bringing everyone back.

I imagine DDV starts - if Allen plays well in significant minutes off the bench, and Hood looks somewhat decent, DDV gets traded for a back-up big.

Edit: if this can even happen

If Brook goes or age get him and go on smaller contract and role, we are lookingn for starting center. That is why i believe we will trade a guard.

I had an A+ offseason in that order.

1. Resign Portis (A+ since we did this with 120%)
2. Get a huge steal with the tax-MLE (B- since Hill is solid, but not Bobby level steal)
3. Get a huge steal with the TPE using 2nds (A since Allen fits like a glove, but probably used better than ours SRPs)
4. Resign Tucker (D since we went the cheaper Semi route)
5. Draft a good one with #31 (C since we preferred to split it in four lesser SRPs)

This certainly feels like a B+ offseason. Which is impressive since it isn't a result of just being in a big market or having a superstar with his own agency. A lot of people have put high level effort and deserve the credit.

I wonder if Bucks are still in on Hartenstein. He may be the final piece to the off season. I have concerns about Brook holding up.

No hurry to trade either, as both will be RFAs after the season. RFAs rarely switch teams, and when they do, draft pick compensation is usually attached. The best course will likely be to use them both for 2 years.

I also expect Bryant and Diakite to stick around for awhile. They are both non guaranteed until Dec. 15 at which point they have $500,000 guarantees. If they look like they have potential they become trade pieces possibly. Their salaries together match Batum.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Yes, we really need one more mobile Big.
I have the same concerns. Brook and Portis are so important to our scheme that if one of them gets injured, we are in trouble.
I would cut Bryant and sign Hartenstein for sure.
Use Hartenstein to keep Brook and Portis fresh for the playoffs.

Were they rumored to be? Agree that he's the big body I'd pursue unless Utah wants to give us Dok.

Maybe DDV and Allen take the next step and Middleton is traded with brook to bring in a upgraded big to pair with them.
Bucks fan since day one. Go Bucks!

No.

I am however wondering what Brook/Donte/‘22 FRP could net us.

Kind of ironic Hill and Hood were both brought to Cleveland at the deadline to help LeBron chase a title and 4yrs later they come to Milwaukee in the same off season to help Giannis do the same.

According to Sam Amico they were before the Allen trade went down.

Yes, please. I'd really like Myles over Brook although I think the Bucks are trying to keep the group in tact.
