Chriss coming would send Lee going most likely.

Don't want to piss off the Curry family!

Everyone knows it's Mulder being cut if need be.

Not to mention Lee has a baby on the way. That baby is going to need food.

I love that we're winning in literally a single clip from that Chriss mash-up. What a season that was.

If it came down to only having 14 players, who would you rather have at the 14th spot. Damion Lee or Avery Bradley. Do you think Lee's shooting is more important than Bradley's defense? Would Damion being Steph's family play a role in the FO's decision should Bradley want to sign for the minimum? Do we even need him?

I’d have Bradley, in a world where injuries aren’t part of the convo.

I’m ok with Lee being at the low end of the rotation he’s fine and he knows what Kerr wants. The problem with Lee the last two years is that he had to play an elevated role due to injuries.

Yep. And I think we’re going to see Lee starting at the 2 (though probably only playing 20-25 minutes/game) until Klay gets back, because of his fit with Curry. Then he’ll just be a part-timer, which is probably what is appropriate for him.

Unfortunately, Bradley's injuries have nullified his defense. The past few seasons, he has been mediocre to awful on defense. I completely agree that Lee is a perfectly suitable 3rd unit guard. Hopefully he doesn't need to be anything more than that again.

That’s a good bet Chuck.

I’d love it to be Moody. But so many things would have to play just right for that to happen.

Moody’s coach Musselman said he’d expect Moody to contribute this year because of the preparation and style they played at Arkansas. He has a program to get guys to the NBA. And he said Moody has all the moxy and talent to be a pro and help right away.

Im not saying they should start him while Klay is easing back. Im saying I’d love it if he became that option.

so do you all think that the Warriors are going to go with Nico at backup PG? I was looking at the remaining FA's and there isn't much. what do you think of the following.

Mike James
Frank Ntilikina
Dennis Smith Jr.
Jeff Teague

would you take any of them over Nico?

This.

Bradley gained a reputation for being a great defender during his first years in the league. But the reality is that he isn’t that guy anymore, so anybody who currently wants him to be on our team and to serve a role as a defensive stopper is basing it on a memory of Bradley rather than his current capability.

I'm pretty sure Iguodala will be the PG when Steph sits. He can bring the ball up, call the plays, direct traffic on offense and distribute the ball to our shooters (Poole, Moody, Porter, Belly) as well as play defense. And hopefully avoid making the bonehead plays that Bazemore, Oubre, and Wannamaker specialized in.

Hopefully Nico comes back on the 2-way and plays so well he earns a full contract.

Green, Curry, JTA, Iguodala, and Poole are all going to be the facilitators I think. I also think a lot of it is going to be left to the offensive scheme.

Not totally sure why I feel this way but a bench backcourt of Poole and Iguodala sounds excellent to me. Poole is talented but still seems like a bit of a loose cannon with the ball in his hands while Iguodala has lost something physically but is a steady hand with the ball that will take some floor general responsibilities from Poole.

We need another ball-handler on the roster. Anything Andre gives the team is a bonus, not something to rely on.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Andre is old, I don't think he has a complete season left in him. I don't want him playing backup PG duties for the regular season and would prefer to play him just enough so he can help in the post season like he was doing two years ago.

Which is why I didn't think Iguodala was a great addition ... or Mills for that matter. Unfortunately all the better options are gone.

Who would you replace Iguodala with from the current FA market (assuming it's not Schroder)?

Wonder if they pursued Winslow.

Or maybe the Clippers gave him more than the minimum.

We've needed another ball handler for years. It's been our most glaring weakness basically forever but we refuse to address it for some reason.

If only there were an all-NBA playmaker on the market we could grab for quarters on the dollar
