I'm almost 41. Grayson Allen got me all fired up, but I've decided I don't care right now after rewatching all access game 6 again.

If it's another 50 years, doubt I'll make it to 90..I saw and appreciated a Bucks championship in my life. I'm good at the moment.

REMEMBER WHEN we were worried about Miami and we swept those bastards. I will appreciate Bryn Forbes always.

There was a poll, and a lot of people were concerned about miami.

There was an 0-2 start against the NBA favorite losing by 40+ pts and a lot of people thought it was over.

There was a bad looking knee injury to Giannis in the ecf and a lot of people thought the playoffs and next year were over.

There was an 0-2 start in the finals and a lot of people thought we couldn't beat the Suns, just like we hadn't beaten them in forever.

There have been so many times there has been doubt and worry about this team, but they never stopped coming back.

It is a weird feeling being a Bucks fan.

We have arguably the best player in the world who is only 26. Which in the NBA means you instantly have an outside shot at a championship.

We have a core of established veterans who just want to win (Middleton, Jrue, Lopez)

We have enough cachet to have veterans sign on for a discount or make good contracts (BOBBY!!!, Hill, Ojeyele, Hood)

We have a coach who is top tier in the league

We have a GM who understands the importance of minor moves and how to make them work to get more playoff caliber pieces. (the Tucker trade was a stroke of genius), turning second round pick into multiple picks was awesome, using those second round picks to add a starting quality SG was unbelievable.

I don't know I think our team next year has better talent than last year. Maybe the Bucks are not the favorites, however I don't think they are the underdogs vs anybody.

Just an exciting time to be a Bucks fan.

This year will be huge. We need to be on the Net's level. After this year, they start losing a step with their age.

And it is precisely these tribulations that make this championship so damn sweet. Don't get me wrong, any Bucks title would be life altering for all of us, but a playoff run where we won every series in 4 or 5 games wouldn't feel the same.

The pain, the uncertainty, the worry, the fear of us losing and never getting to the top of the mountain heightens the satisfaction level to the absurd levels we are all experiencing.

What I think will be huge next season and going forward is that the team, Giannis in particular, no longer have that pressure of not reaching an NBA Finals on their shoulders. Even as a fan you could feel that pressure on the team and I think it kind of tripped them up in the previous 2 seasons. I felt like the team really came of age and broke through in the Nets series. Reaching the Finals and winning it is going to take Giannis and the entire team to another level from a mental standpoint. That should be scary for the rest of the league.

That's why I kind of chuckle when people assume that an aging, oft injured Nets team is just going to steamroll the Bucks next season.

Took my wife's car into the shop and was chatting with the mechanic while he was fixing it. He recently moved to the Atlanta area from NYC and when I told him I was a Bucks fan, he said he liked Giannis and the Bucks, too, to the point that he bought a Bucks shirt. He wore it during the ECF and Hawks fans gave him **** for it. He didn't care.

Also, my son wore his new Bucks championship shirt to school today. He told me he saw a kid at school last week wearing one, which is pretty neat, considering we aren't anywhere near Wisconsin.

Winning the championship was fun. Now I want to see them beating a healthy Nets team in a playoffs series, hopefully the ECF.

Giannis getting hurt was the most deflating moment I've ever had in terms of sports. To go from that to watching them win was something.

I mistakenly went to the nets board and engaged with some people who think Giannis hurt Kyrie on purpose. Over on that board I guess you are allowed to tell people to kill themselves and to gtfo with zero repercussions. Some real trash over there.

Bruce Brown first in line to get his "what if" championship ring, can't wait to see that ceremony and the banner they hang before the Nets home opener.

All stuff like this is going to do is fire up Giannis and the rest of the team going into next season. Hearing all the If the Nets/We were healthy stuff from the national media and from the Nets is going to be extra motivation for a team with championship experience that feeds off stuff like that.

Giannis got a taste of a championship and he wants more, keep talking.

Bucks won the last two games of the ECF without Giannis, so all the injury excuses fall a little flat for me. Give them the Subjunctive Trophy I guess.
