That from the both of them combined. That's great production from your PG rotation. Above is what I think is worst case with Kemba playing 25-28 mpg and Rose 20-23 MPG.

Best case

Kemba puts up

20 ppg 5 rpg 5 apg in 33 mpg
45% FG 38% 3 PT

NY WOULD LOVE IT !

I am hoping our starting line up can put up the following with RJ taking another leap.

1- Kemba - 15 ppg 4 rpg 6 apg 45% FG 37% 3PT
2- Evan - 18 ppg 3 rpg 3 apg 45% FG 40% 3PT
3- RJ - 20 ppg 7 rpg 3 apg 45% FG 37-40% 3PT
4- Julius - 20 ppg 10 rpg 5 apg 45% FG 37-40% 3 PT
5- Mitch - 10 ppg 10 rpg 3 bpg

Total starting unit - 83 ppg 34 rpg 17 apg

Thoughts ?

I don’t know how many points you think a Thibs led team will average. 83 for the starters? If you factor in the bench with Rose getting 15, IQ - 12, Burks - 12, not even counting Obi and the others, we are already at 120. I don’t see it. Temper expectations.

Yeah. Too many points. Probably 3 or 4 too many points for RJ. What, the same or less than last year?!
He'll probably be a better player, but get less touches.
Randle may go down to 18
Fournier is probably ballpark, but again, maybe shave a point
Kemba may or may not start, but I don't think it's wrong to expect 15 ppg from either Kemba or Rose
Probably averages 78 ppg

Othella had a nice hook shot and played hard. It was a rough year cause LJ retired and JVG quit. Camby was hurt too I think. It was the start of two decades of awful basketball.

In a forum I was on at the time, we all called Othella "The Black Hole" because basketballs that got passed into his orbit never came back out, ever.

knicks4life and/or homeoftheknicks

I think there was a group of people who were mostly at the former, it folded, and wound up at the latter. Some of the people who were on both are here, but scattered about, or have come and gone over the years.

So, will the Knicks start Kemba to boost the starting lineup and have Rose and IQ and Burks give that strong continuity and play to the 2nd unit, or, since Kemba will sit a lot more games for load management, will Rose start for starting lineup continuity and Kemba boost the 2nd unit and it's less of an issue when he sits at least 10 games, if not more?

I originally thought Kemba would start, but know I think he'll come off the bench since he's going to miss enough games to keep his knee right. Pretty much NoDope's take and I think he's right.

I could see it either way but think Kemba will start.

They have both missed a lot of games the past few years and would expect both to miss a games. Rose seems adjusted to coming off the bench and played pretty well in that role last year.

Between all the missed games they both might end up starting some games

My guess is Kemba starts and rests back to backs. Rose or IQ starts on off nights. Im inclined to think IQ to keep Rose's roll and minutes consistent. But wtf do I know

I actually remember reading that OKC was letting teams see his medicals. It must’ve been bad

Why would you be openly sharing the medicals if they’re that bad? Wouldn’t you offer to share medicals to quell concerns?

If they weren’t willing to share it then that’s even a worse sign. They had to share it at this point, even if it was bad.
