At the 4th pick he better become our best defender lol

OG is way quicker.

I think OG is quicker to react because of the stance that he gets into.
Scottie may end up quicker because of his ability to read the floor.
I love that we have both.

Yeah, but his shot attempts seemed makeable. Some of Siakam's shots you know it ain't going in the second it leaves his hand.

He's the truth

The next game will be fun too. I'll be laughing watching Garza score 30. Shouldve gone 1st round, |Raptors are fools for passing on him.

This team will be in the playoffs. After Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Philly, Miami its wide open. Our starters are too good and now we have a refreshed bench

Only caught the end of the game but Flynn looked a lot more polished offensively and a real floor general for the squad. Looking forward to seeing him lead our bench mob next year.

OG will always be the better defender. They are not even comparable in terms of lateral quicks. People will realize once the NBA season begins and they see OG guarding a PG lol

I think that Barnes can guard those 1's and 2's in the league but it will be mainly because of his length. OG certainly is quicker laterally, but if Barnes can learn how to angle himself defensively, and I believe he will, his lack of lateral quickness won't matter.

Very impressed with that debut from Barnes. Lots of highlights (like that left-handed 3/4 pass that was an absolute bullet and right on the money then the and-1 dunk that was called a foul on the floor lol), but he made 18/10/5/2/1 look pretty effortless. Super easy to root for the kid too. His energy and demeanor is infectious.

As others have said, Flynn looked like an NBA player. Clearly a notch above the rest on the offensive end. I also really liked what I saw from Champagnie, Wainright and Mahmoud (though very limited minutes).

Banton was a bit wild and looks like he'll need a lot of developing to be an NBA player, but he has some tools to work with and brings a lot of energy. Some people are being too hard on Gillespie too. He was getting some tough calls against him and he was better than the box score says.
