It doesn't matter where we play him. He does everything... Maybe after another game people will get it. Hes a TRUE positionless player. Thats the thing.

Obviously hes not Chris Paul at PG or Joel Embiid at Center. But he will always hold his and find ways to make impact plays.

What's there to "get"? We aren't all idiots here

I think we're just trying to figure out what our starting lineup will be in October and going forward. It wouldn't shock me in the least if Barnes begins the season coming off the bench. We don't really throw rookies into the fire.

Well Siakam is injured to start the season...

But ultimately I see Barnes coming off the bench and filling the gaps. Play 30 minutes a game just doing what we need him to do depending on nightly matchups. Bring him in, establish the need and have him fill that role.

Defensively there are no issues with making that work, it'll actually be a nightmare for opposing offenses. Now offensively, just gotta keep working on that 3 point shot.

In regards to Trent, he will start at the 2 for sure. Barnes will be our 6th man that can sub in for almost anyone.

Liangelo Ball playing his way into the NBA. All he has to do is be alright to get a spot because of the marketability with him and his brother and hes been one of the best players in this game.

The problem is that Trent doesn't like to be off the bench. He will be starting for us (at least to start the year).

He's a 1...he can easily start beside Fred.

Barnes isn't a pg. He's just not. High dribble and not quick with the ball. Great point forward who can rebound and push like Pascal though. Would love if Pascal had a huge rebound year and Barnes showed worthy of having him dealt.
