Maybe he's worked on his game and may eventually more useful than any of Giannis' brothers.

Then you have...
Flynn
Dragic
Trent
Boucher
Birch

off the bench...I like Trent off the bench...gives us the shooting and scoring that we need from the second unit.

The problem is that Trent doesn't like to be off the bench. He will be starting for us (at least to start the year).

PG-Van Vleet, Dragic
SG-Trent, Flynn
SF-OG, Wainwright
PF- Siakam, Boucher
C-Birch, Achiuwa, Gillispie
FLEX- Barnes, Watanabe (can fill in most roles depending on matchups)

G-League- Champagnie (probably gets called up and cracks the lineup)
G-League- Banton
G-League- Johnson

We will see what happens with Dekker.

You are? Wow. How are the kids doing? :D

Someone posted a video somewhere around here earlier today about how Barnes went about choosing the college he'd go to...and basically he eliminated any college that would play him at forward...and committed to FSU because they would let him play the 1. That's the mentality Scottie has...will that be an issue in the future if he doesn't get to play the position he feels like he fits best at?

if the staff thinks should be the primary ball handler then he wont, judging by his speed and craftiness with the ball he wont be and it wont be smart for force him to be the one with better options. hes gonna get a chance to make plays tho, he could be a point forward and a secondary ball handler sure.

I'm certainly no expert and I didn't watch the full game today or any of his college games, but you do see that his handle isn't quite tight enough for a Pro PG, right? I think we can agree Fred isn't a traditional PG in the sense that he isn't the ideal playmaker but Scottie sorely lacks several typical PG skills namely tight handles, organizing the offense, etc. I guess he could develop those but I just don't see it. He's a 3/4 moving forward for me. Like a lineup of Barnes, Trent, OG, Pascal, Birch would be disastrous to watch imo in terms of cohesiveness. Throw in FVV instead and suddenly it looks more like a 5 man unit.

I don't see any way Jalen Green doesn't become at least a Devin Booker level player in the NBA. His bag of moves at 19 is 99th percentile. I think he ends up quite a bit better.

Did no one else feel for Freddie? Lol the guy was frustrated you could just tell playing against Simms all night. You gotta respect him though, he kept getting murdered in every way but didn't stop.

All late FRP's though. Don't see Brooklyn being anywhere near the lottery for awhile.
