More impressed by Sengun in that game than Jalen. We already knew Jalen could do all that, but Sengun had me happy we didn't end up with Mobley, he sonned him.

Summer league hype never fails.

Do it in the playoffs or it doesn't count lol

Who knows, we might build up Siakam's value and maybe get a team to trade their picks next lottery. Then again this year we had a prime opportunity to trade with a win now team in the Warriors. Next year it's probably all garbage teams so they might be less willing to trade for Siakam.

If GS still wants Siakam...I'd take Kuminga and Moody in a heartbeat.

I think they want to keep those two. Feel like any trade between the two teams would have happened by now.

I feel like there's still a good chance Kuminga/Wiseman are dealt for help now if they're serious about competing. The lux tax implications of keeping raw prospects like them is crazy, and the window for their max players is quickly closing.

I'm certainly no expert and I didn't watch the full game today or any of his college games, but you do see that his handle isn't quite tight enough for a Pro PG, right? I think we can agree Fred isn't a traditional PG in the sense that he isn't the ideal playmaker but Scottie sorely lacks several typical PG skills namely tight handles, organizing the offense, etc. I guess he could develop those but I just don't see it. He's a 3/4 moving forward for me. Like a lineup of Barnes, Trent, OG, Pascal, Birch would be disastrous to watch imo in terms of cohesiveness. Throw in FVV instead and suddenly it looks more like a 5 man unit.

Thats just your opinion and to be fair...your no expert and youve never watched him play. I'm just letting you know your wrong and its okay. Its alright.

And yours isn't just YOUR opinion? I didn't say I've never seen him play. I said I didn't watch the full game today or any full college games of his. From what I've seen of him, he's not a traditional PG, no. He's not a "1". You can scream it at the top of your lungs if it makes your feel better. It's okay. It's alright. :clown:

He will be able to play PG. It will probably never happen because Van Vleet's natural position is PG and he is going to thrive being at PG instead of being a 5'11 SG trying to shoot over and contest Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown which was ridiculous.

Unfortunately they traded their own picks and gave swap rights to OKC in the Westbrook for CP trade. Pretty stupid of them tbh lol.

Is he ready for the physicality of Sengun?

Fran Fuschillo in a pre-draft podcast (maybe with Chad Ford) said that his contacts in Turkey were telling him how strong Sengun is. Everyone wanted to call him a mini-Kanter, but maybe he's the Turkish Millsap.

This board used to foam at the mouth at the timberwolves/sixers young rebuild and talk about how we were treadmilling with lowry/dd. People will never learn lol

I have a feeling they’ll get pressured to make a move if their season isn’t going how they want

Pisses me off OKC has good management and had Barnes high on their board to take him at #4

Imagine trading down to 6+16 and getting Barnes+Sengun, we'd have been so set

C is a huge weakness atm

I’m not a scout by any means but sometimes you can just look at guys and you can see it. Jalen Green has it.

Hope Siakam comes out on fire when he comes back from injury. Putting more pressure on the Warriors.

I’m not saying we should totally rebuild. Green is just a superstar already, and Sengun looks like he’s going to play at a pretty high / Sabonis type of level. Just admiring good drafting, that’s it.

Barnes also looked great obviously.

Giddey is gonna show out. He's probably who we pick if Barnes wasn't there. I think he's better than Mobley and Suggs.
