Has he actually been waived yet? I may have missed it. But if not, we generally won’t know what he gave back until after the waivers, as the buyout has to be registered with the league/NBPA.

When D'Antoni was in Houston, they fixed him up with a good defensive coach and they had PJ Tucker as the player with the JYD (Junk Yard Dog) mindset.

I don't know if Griffin is able to figure out what he needs to do in regards to offsetting/balancing against the offensive tilt of Ingram, Zion, Graham and Markkanen.

I had forgotten JV and had penciled in Markkanen at Center with Zion at PF.

I had thought that Griffin would be a big improvement over Demps. I might have to reevaluate that line of thinking.

It really bothers me that Portland is not involved in the Lauri sweepstakes. They could have worked something out while losing Collins to not lose the salary slot. They would be a great fit and Dame would actually have gotten some help. All other teams are shopping at Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Target. Niel is pushing a cart through an abandoned Kmart.

DJJ+? If Lauri will take 15M in a better situation (I would argue Portland is a better fit) give himself a 3 year with a PO (3/50 with 3rd year being an option) DJJ + pick + Simons.

You gotta find some bench guys, but I would rather have that problem then looking at Faried/Beas, Millsap etc to be a starter (or going absurdly small)
