At the age of 16, three summers ago, Green measured 6 foot 4 without shoes, and 6 foot 5 in shoes. I think he has probably grown an inch since that time, so 6 foot 6 in shoes is most likely. However, he is still 180 pounds, and needs to put on extra weight to deal with the bigger shooting guards/small forwards he will be matching up with.

Why are you trying to use 3 year old high school measurements to guess what his height is now when there was literally a draft combine a couple of months back that measured every prospect with the same "official" standards? Who knows how that high school measurement was done, accurate it was, or whether they rounded up to make him look better as a prospect?

There's no combine measurement on Jalen Green. The top guys usually skip that. Whatever this 6"6 is, it likely isn't official. I feel like for the most part this is all irrelevant. No one cares what size someone is or isn't once the ball starts going through the net.

Wainwright was impressive for me. He'll be Able to play that 3/4 tweener role us and is actually smart and can hit shots

He really didn't have a good scoring night (neither did Mobley or Cade though, they had worse), 18 pts on 18 shots, but aside from scoring I think he's gonna be a stat stuffer.

The guy got 10 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, and only 1 TO and 2 PF.

While no one can say for sure how his 3 ball and overall scoring will come around, the fact that he's comfortable taking 3s is a good sign, even though he's obviously bad at them right now.

I'm humorously going to do a Barnes/Simmons watch and see if Barnes has more 3 point attempts in the first 5 games, than Simmons will all season.

I'm so glad everyone's opinion of Scottie has turned around on this board. He will be successful in this league.
I re-watched the game this morning and he just does so many little things help the team. Moving the ball quickly on offence and being a disruptor on defense.
Malachi had a good game because he shot it well, but Scottie was the best player on the floor imo.

Thanks for the youtube video - this is a good analysis of Scottie's first game including little things that don't show up on the stat-sheet.

Fixing the link so that the youtube video embeds in the message.

Quick observations:
FVV is full-on Dad mode based on his fit. I fully expect him to verbally share his disappointment in prospects who "should know better by now."

Pascal looking less like Spice P and more like Spicy Paisley. Also, I see his smart Red Bull on camera promo. I doubt he needs a Red Bull to take in a casual summer league game, but glad for the product placement op.

It was cool to see the gang support the team.

Spicy P looking like Lil Wayne's bandana.

A lot of people thought Primo was one of the biggest reaches on draft night, but after seeing him the summer league... He might have just been under-scouted...He looks good!

Even though it seemed like Banton had 25 turnovers, I was still pretty intrigued with his ball handling and fluidity out there considering how big he is. Definitely has a lot to work on but there is potential there to develop into a rotation player.

Moses Wright and Jose Alvarado look good for New Orleans right now. Toronto should've signed Moses Wright.
