Friendly Reminder to GM's - I'm going to do a pre-FA Power Ranking and have it out sometime next week. If GM's are interested in sending in their rankings and team comments, feel free but it is optional.

I do ask that when I do the pre-season BAFletic rankings that all GM's do participate then, but for this go around it is optional.

TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade Spencer Dinwiddie, Cedi Osman and Eric Paschall to the Utah Jazz along with Anfernee Simons to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Mohamed Bamba, Onyeka Okongwu, Tyler Ulis and Aaron Nesmith.

The Utah Jazz have agreed to trade Mohamed Bamba, Tyler Ulis and Aaron Nesmith to the Atlanta Hawks along with Trey Murphy III to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie, Cedi Osman and Eric Paschall.

The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to trade Onyeka Okongwu to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Trey Murphy III and Anfernee Simons.

deal was actually agreed to a couple days ago so the SL league game didn't play any role.

I was after Murphy even during the draft. I now think my bench backcourt (for now) unit of Suggs/Bouknight/Vassell Murphy is pretty exciting long term and pretty complimentary.

It was rumored Murphy was on the NBA Hawks radar also. I like his skill set.

I get the hype for Suggs and Kuminga; but for my money Moody was the most efficient scorer on the floor and it was not close. Moody is so quiet. Its like one minute he has 4 points on poor shooting then by the 3rd quarter he has an efficient 12 points.

Moody 25:52 minutes played. 15/4/2 on 46.2/40/50 ( 1 for 2 FT ) shooting splits. Moody took two shots in the 4th and none in OT.

I think GSWs end game was to give Kuminga the burn tonight. He got 29:16 Minutes and it was almost all Kuminga and Guy hero ball at the end of the 4th and OT. Guy getting hot and looking like he belongs stole some minutes.

I am going to be a happy camper so long as Moody stays efficient. So far so good.

Thats the allure with Suggs. He has the ability on both ends. The block at the end of the 4th where it was tied was one of those game changing plays only a handful of players can pull off.

I also don't care he shot 9-22. He shot 50% from 3 and most of his 3's were created by himself and he took one half court heave at the end of the 1st half so I don't even count that against him so really 3-5 from actual 3 pointers.

He missed a couple bunnies at the rim also that effected his FG%.

He just fills the stat sheet 3 blocks 2 steals. The assists will come when he hopefully plays with more shot makers. Suggs got zero help from Cole Anthony and Franz Wagner tonight.
