Davion should be good, he’s almost 30! 8-) jk However, he is older and the experience shows.

The fact that it's only a 7 point game after 3 quarters is pretty baffling lol.

Gelo scores in bunches.

Bouknight just not a good game. Not hustling or rotating on D

My game must be on some weird delay.

It is appearing that we might have serious depth at the Forward position(s).

Bouknight needs to get hungrier. That was some lazy play today. Hopefully he gets chewed out. This has been a problem in the Borrego regime...no urgency, lazy rotations

First game folks were ready to anoint Bouknight, tonight he sucks. Such is the like of an NBA rookie!

to be honest the lack of urgency was a problem with the whole team, particularly compared to the Kings. they just weren't ready for what Sacramento brought to the court today.

I don't know if it means anything in the big picture, probably not, but it's worth noting. same thing happened when Patrick Ewing first started coaching the summer league team under Clifford. it happens.

I expect the Hornets' best performance of summer league so far in the next game, if Dutch Gaitley is some kind of hotshot coach.

Couldn’t watch, and just checked the box. Why the hades does Carey get zero minutes? Is he hurt? Richards line looked sorta OK, but he doesn’t do anything for me. Kai, BOUK and the rookies are going to have flashes and flops. We appear to have little to no point play of note. Will be interesting to see which PG’s perform well in SL.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I desperately want him to be decent, having a forward hitting 3s at a high rate will help this team so much

Thats why I do not think Bouknight is good with the first unit. He is a bucket getter and not a in the flow ball player. Not bucket getters have their purpose and that imo he will on this team. Overall he was a good pick. Its all in the room, only problem is it's not an organized room.

i liked bouk bringing the ball up the floor yesterday, not sure why they went away from it today, especially in the 1st quarter when we were getting shotclock violations, would have been nice to just start the play with your dynamic ballhandler bringing it up. seemed like they wanted to give Carton a chance to show what he can do

Davion is a great defender. The proof is what he did to a great offensive team in Gonzaga. He and Butler were grown men. Bouk will learn and grow from this game. From all accounts, he’s an incredibly hard worker.
