Flynn is nice. Really really nice. He's also 3 years older and not as dominant defensively (and he's a good defensive player)

We also don't have to build the team around him. Suggs makes more sense in ORL tbh, they kind of need him more.

I do find it hilarious how much people overreact to Summer League games. One game and people are throwing guys like Mobley, Wagner, Bouknight under the bus. Summer league is basically glorified YMCA scrimmages.

I don't know how you guys can stand Cole Anthony. I would seriously be pulling hair out of my head if i had to watch him and Suggs start every single game.

luckily we won't have to. Cole is a backup, at best. Suggs and Fultz is our backcourt of the future. Cole is a spark plug off the bench.

Cole kinda looks like he has an ego problem. The way he was looking at Suggs and reluctantly passing to him or waving him off. He seems kinda toxic.

It was actually hilarious to watch. Suggs looked like the vet while Cole looked like a scrub rookie

I would say higher. Flynn is also 23 years old.

I thought the Magic would have gone with Moody or Bouknight at 8

I was calling for the magic to take Sengun at 8 was pretty surprised when he fell to 16

If everyone is healthy, I like this lineup for the Magic.

Maybe not Wagner. He looks so raw offensively!

He played very good defense. imagine how Kyle Lowry impacts the game that doesn't reach the stat sheet. That's what Suggs was doing. Also he was playing with Cole Anthony the whole time and Anthony is about the worst PG i've ever seen. He's like the Aron Baynes of PGs.

He definitely won that game for Orlando down the stretch with blocks and clutch buckets. Very calm. Never rushed, simple smart plays. He's like an athletic Lowry.

We talking about Suggs right? Not Anthony?

Yah man. Anthony needs to make friends with Suggs ASAP. Let him know he's the man and get in line because tonight was bad.

Flynn is nice, looked heady in game 1. But Suggs is better right now, 6'4 vs 6'1, stronger, all-round winner.

Malachi is a solid backup PG, and that's no insult, but Suggs is an NBA starter right now. He and FVV would've been such a good backcourt.

I truly believe that Suggs could have become a dame/Trae level player here. And surrounded by Pascal/OG/FVV it would have been a GREAT squad.

Magic fans want the back court to be Suggs and RJ Hampton. we think the front office will force Suggs and Fultz

Hampton cole and Fultz are all so trash bro.
Wish he can be paired with someone better

like Fred Van Vleet.

Flynn was the defensive player of the year in his conference. At this point, Flynn is the better defensive player.

They shouldve picked Moody or Duarte. Wouldve been the perfect fit next to Suggs, just surround him with shooting. They overthought it imo. Wagner will be good but thats all, just a decent rotation guy.

Good game for Suggs. A lot of his positive attributes translated tonight - rebounding, energy and hustle on defense. 3 point shot looked smooth and hit some midrange jumpers early on.

I was one of a handful of posters who wasn't sure about him BEFORE we passed on him. I still have the same concerns. Limited advantage creation, lack of creativity off the bounce, isolation shot making ability. Didn't really show much in that sense but if his first step translates at the NBA level he won't need much to gain advantages of PnRs.

I still see him as an excellent connecting type player in the vein of Lowry/Holiday/Lonzo/Haliburton, not deviating from that.

The rest of the Magic team looks beyond awful, especially Cole Anthony. They'll be battling to be the worst team in the league pretty sure.

Wagner going to start you think?

we dont know what his final position will be. Word is, he may be 6'11 now. can he keep his athleticism at SF with that height? i may be biased, but it looked like he played good defense a few times on Kuminga and was called for a foul. im not saying he never fouled, but it looked like a few times were clean. We dont know if he may be possible insurance at PF with Isaac's annual injury concerns. we need a SF and he looks to do all the dirty work, so i hope so.

Suggs basically had a Suggs game. Slightly inefficient from the field but made winning plays allover the court. He's going to be a high leverage starter for a long time..

Good for Suggs played well.

Scottie can become Giannis with a jumper here.

We needed a superstar. This was the only way.

It should be used for development.. Problem is fans live in the moment and can't see 2 feet infront of them. Some guys struggle in the summer league and do well in the NBA and vice versa..

Suggs will have a good year. He will be more of a focal point at magic.
