Hey anyone else peep that Josh Green didn't play today in summerleague.

Keep a close eye. I think the Dragic trade to the Mavs is inevitable. How do you not play your healthy first round pick lol

Our young core is gonna surprise next season. I think Masai/Bobby are both banking on that happening too based off their interviews. Bobby keeps saying "adding to the young core" and making "Opportunistic Trades when they present itself".

Bobby and Masai are banking on Dragic and Boucher to play well enough next season to become trade bait. And maybe 1 tweener guy as well to make some noise (Yuta, Ishmail, David Johnson).

I think when Bobby mentions the "Young Core"....he's talking OG/Scottie/Gary Trent/Malachi/Precious. To go along with the core of FVV/Siakam

It was like that before he even got to Monteverde for his senior season. By the time he got to Monteverde it was shorter than it is now.

One thing that's really helpful with player assessments is asking yourself: am I about to make a post comparing guys' summer league games? If the answer is yes, close the tab.

Uh sorry I saw Anthony Morrow turn into Reggie Miller in summer league, are you saying that summer league stats are ultimately meaningless?

This is the excuse from the Mavs end lol.

Dwain Price: #Mavs summer league coach Greg St. Jean said Josh Green won’t play for the Mavs in the summer league. Green just finished winning an Olympic bronze medal with Australia. St. Jean said Green will be in Las Vegas and practicing with the Mavs and will sit on the bench during games.

Precious just finished playing in the Olympics and he's ready to go not to mention Giddey tried playing last night. There is definetly something going on.

Giddey was cut from the Australian team before the Olympics.

Suggs played well and had a couple big plays down the stretch when the game was in the balance, but to say he won that game for them… Magic won by 2 but Suggs was -11.

Still doesn't change the fact that there were a number of players who played in both the Olympics and summer league. Green was averaging under 10 mins a game. He's to young and inexperienced not to be playing right now.

The excuses dont add up.

Facts. He still played good though, but lets not overhype him.

Ah, my bad. Must’ve had Barnes +11 in my head. That only exaggerates my point. Suggs didn’t win them the game despite having a couple of + plays at the end. I’m not dumping on him. I like Suggs and he played well, but Magic were significantly outscored with him on the floor.

Imagine putting a team playing well and scoring all on one player though? you acting like Suggs guards all 5 positions lol makes no sense....Warriors were playing well and then he came in when the game was close at then end and looked like a different player with a competitive edge and made big plays to help get the W

Watching both Suggs and Barnes and I'm happy we went with Barnes. Barnes just has something about him that feels like he is a dominating presence. If you told me Suggs was Malachi Flynn, I would believe you.
