you don't have to tear down other players to feel great about Barnes. Just like those did with Barnes when they wanted Suggs before the draft.

All of those top 5 picks are very talented and have exciting futures ahead of them.

This is a deep deep class man. Can't wait for the next game. I want Scotty doing exactly what he did last game, maybe a little more iso or jumpers. He needs to get as many reps in as he can, cause he wont be seeing as much in the regular season I don't think. Lets just start his development and grab out PF/C next year in Banchero, Duren, Chet or even Nikola Jovic.

I just feel like Barnes is a guy that's gonna consistently make your team better when he's on the floor, in many different ways. I love that his defensive floor is so high, and he's also a great playmaker, because we already have a really productive player.

I feel like everyone will share Suggs game winners, and he'll be good down the stretch when games are tight, which is an important player to have, and one were missing, but he's going to have a much harder time carrying his team throughout the game.

You people have been making the same points over and over again since draft night. Theres absolutely nothing new added to the conversation. We missed on a superstar, we would have been good next year with suggs, front office are idiots, barnes is a bust. Anything else we need to read for the 100th time?

Right, because it's so unlike this board for points and opinions to be repeated over and over.

This board is hilarious. They were ready to crown Suggs the king of Canada when it looked like we were going to pick him now it’s just a so so player…. just like they claimed Precious wasn’t enough to get Lowry, now Precious is the next BAM. The takes on here are pure comedy.

Orlando has a bright future with Isaac and Suggs. young and exciting but probably going to lose a lot of games this coming year.

what are they going to do with Fultz? he's been improving since he got to Orlando.

Suggs, Barnes and Green had great first appearances for their teams. Cade, Mobley not so much.

Totally, and I think Orlando is in good hands long-term. I really like Suggs and think he's a great pick at 5, and if we had picked him I'd have been stoked, like I would have with any of the top 5. He'll be a key piece on a winning team, but I guess I just don't see a top 10 player at any point in his career. Maybe somewhere in the Jamal Murray, Donovan Mitchell strata.

ORL need to just give Suggs the ball. Forget about Hampton and Anthony - they are a diservice to him. They'll figure it out

yeah I don't know how much trade value those guys have, but if they do, some sort of roster balancing trade is probably in order.

You claimed that Masai overvalued Lowry at the deadline and also that he could have gotten Talen Horton Tucker from the Lakers if he insisted. Everyone is more than capable of irrational thought when they want to be

I haven't posted in **** ages but had to login to say how childish some of ya'll are lol, Barnes success doesn't have to come at the detriment of other players (Suggs or else). Both can have successful careers and be helpful to their respective teams. Some of ya'll are showing your age through your posts.

I’m hoping Isaac can stay healthy. He has so much potential.

Barnes and Suggs both look like NBA guys.

We have no idea what their ceiling will be at this point and we won't be able to get a decent grasp of what their potential is until their 3rd or 4th year in the league.

This is summer league. We've seen plenty of players dominate summer league and turn into average players or busts.

Excited to see Barnes vs Kuminga. Kuminga seems best trying to bully his way to the basket, so will be interesting to see how Barnes guards him.

And Precious on our squad as well, wonder if he'll get the start maybe?
