Atlanta has some guy named M. Heidegger on their SL team and I legit did a double-take. Not many times a team takes a flyer on a 20th century German philosopher who wrote on phenomenology.

What's crazy is Duarte as a rookie is only a year younger than Turner/Sabonis

He doesn't have to do **** in summer league other then develop.. He just needs to continue to work on his game and get ready for the real season. Getting up those reps with his shot is key. He can go out there and have a stinker as long as he identifies the issues and improves.

He easily could have dropped 20+. Man stay at 16-18 points awhile and just the other guys on the team do their thing. Wasn't really a central part of the offense near the end. Maybe got tired.

I was high on Johnson. He's going to be really good one day. He had too many haters on this board. Needs to focus on his turnovers though. Both games a lot of turnovers. But that's what summer league is for. Learning and experimenting.

Then they got Hunter, Reddish, Huerter, and Okongwu too, great drafting by the Hawks in recent years.

Spoke too soon? Sharife has 15 points and 7 assists and is 3/5 from three. He does have 5 turnovers, but this guy is just getting his feel for the game.

I was really advocating we draft this guy in the lottery, but to think we passed on him twice in the second round is a legit shocking to me. Dalano Banton over Sharife Cooper is nuts to me.

you guys are haters. He's doing just fine.

6-9 shooting, 3-5 from deep, 15 points, 9 assists...a steal and board.

What do you expcect? we still have a quarter and a half to go... suggs didn't shoot 6-9! Suggs had 1 assist lol Don't hate on Cooper

Cant defend. Masai would never touch a guy like him

He can defend fine, you're lost.

And you guys said the same thing abt Trae, he was in the conference finals, we were picking top 4....you gotta score in this league.

Defence is great, but you gotta score to be a star. That's just how it is. Doncic doesn't play D either, does he suck?

Not @ all. Cant defend, can't shoot, too small. Theres a reason why he dropped. Dont get hyped over stats from a summer league game.

A lot of what Cooper does won’t work as well against actual NBA defense and he’s gonna struggle a lot defensively. His offense isn’t that great to make up for his lack of defense
